I have a emerson lf501em4a tv and have the firestick connected my question is how can i hook up my rca home theatre system for sound. rca hts only has 4 rca inputs (2dvd and 2 aux)

Hello, if there are digital audio adapters, optical or coax audio to the RCA, with this adapter, you can exit the TV from the digital output (it can be fiber optic or coax) n you enter the adapter and connect a cable with pair of RCA and the other end of this cable, two RCA also, to the input of your sound equipment
I sent you the link of an adapter
I do not suggest using the headphone output
I hope you can solve your need
Greetings Franco Dosil

Espero puedas resolver tu necesidad

I moved the Mintek Tv from my bedroom to the living room, the tv cable cord will not screw into the Tv, I was told that I need a adapter, coax to av-rca, is this correct? What do you think?

Not sure due to lack of information to go on
I. think you need a tv coaxial female to f plug male adapter
really depends on the TV cable cord what is the gender of the end of the cable if it is coaxial male then the adapter needs a female coxial
if the tv has a female socket hole then the f type part of adapter needs to be a male.

The tv manual may shed some more info on the type of RF antenna coaxial connector. it uses.
RCA can be confused as av is to do with with hooking up a Video recorder with Video output being the yellow plug and audio with Red and white plugs.

I think you need a RF coaxial adapter rather than AV RCA if you are connecting tv to a tv antenna or tv antenna splitter device.
there is a RCA standard that has adapter like below link http://www.radioparts.com.au/product/30255099/pa5099-%27f%27-plug-to-rca-socket-adaptor#.VUa7uJM_xhI
again gender types are needed to be considered before deciding if correct type of adapter..
You could research the rca rf standard to see if it is used in your country. My country uses Pal coaxial standard.

I have a turntable with a connect that has a double male (large size) connector but a Base which wants a single small male to fit the AUX input. Is there an adapter I can use?

I assume you mean that the turntable uses 2 RCA output jacks and the Bose shelf system has a 3.5 mm AUX input jack. Since you have the RCA audio cable, get a RCA F/F to 3.5 mm adapter. Here is a link to one: http://www.cyberguys.com/product-details/?productid=21319&rH=1601 . If you want to just have a single cable, RCA M/M to 3.5 mm M audio cables are available, http://www.cyberguys.com/product-details/?productid=2706&rH=1095 . If you have 1/4" outputs on the turntable, you need to get a different adapter or use a combination. I don't know of many vendors for the 1/4" adapters these days.

I hope this helps.

Trying to hook up "back-up camera" which only has a coax output jack. Can I hook it directly into "ANT" jack or do I have to go through a demodulator and reduce to an RCA and then plug into V1 jack?

I would be interested to know the model number of the camera. "Coax" jacks are usually only used for tuners. It is more possible that it is a BNC connection. If it truly is coax than they may have used the coax jack because an RCA style plug would come unplugged too easily while driving.
Just get an F (male or female depending on the connection) to RCA (female) adapter and an RCA cable and plug it into any composite (yellow) video input.
If it is BNC than get a BNC to RCA adapter.

Take the part into Radio Shack and they will have the right adapter.

Want to know if I can use the line-level inputs from the CD Chgr

Your alpine unit is the old "M-BUS" the other adapter you are talking about is an "AI-BUS" adapter. (Hence the model numbers beginning with CD"M" or CD"A" ...)

Look for an Alpine M-Bus to RCA Input adapter.

heres one on eay for less than 10.00 including shipping.

HOW DO I INSTALL A RCA ADAPTER TO MY VEHICLE

There should be a diagram entitled "adding and amplifier to a factory stereo" in the owner/install manual of the high to low convertor. You need to signal tap some audio signal from your front or rear stock speakers in the car and those wires need hook up to the high to low convertor's input side. From the convertor you connect RCAs that go to your amp. In other words find your rear speaker wires and hook them to your adapter then hook up the rca wires

Phase linear uv8

Assuming that your unit have a rear video/audio input, you need an adapter cable. 35mm to video/audio rca. You may find one on Ebay or RadioShack. Goodluck.
