There might be an off on switch under the lower right hand corner of the set. (feel for it) and switch it.

Look at the power supply first; look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Look for 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24dvc.

My LG LCD 32LD350 seemed to have been fried in a storm last night, stanby red light no longer lit and won't turn on, still see some green lighting inside televison, but it won't turn on, Is it

Is it repairable, well, this question can be answered only after opening the back cover and evaluating the damage. From you side, please connect the TV to a different power outlet where other similar devices are working and see. Then try changing the input device to something that sure works. If it does not work even then, this may need attention by a qualified service technician.

The On/off button of my LG LCD does not turn on the tv and the red/green light of the power indicator doesn't light up, but when plugging in the power cable to the outlet the on/off button light is...

your TV has a power supply issue or a logic fault.
Don't try and fix this yourself as the power supplies in these TV sets are extremely dangerous !!
These TV's can only be fixed to board level which means this repair may get expensive.
My advice would be to take the TV to a professional or have them call to your home to check it out..

The red light means it's on standby mode but if you wish to turn off the red light you can just go to menu >option>power then choose standby light off.

Wont turn on

lg has a problem with that model--usually bad electrolytic caps(most of the time the tops of the bad caps are swollen)if you take apart the unit you should see them problable in the power supply--if you dont think you can change them--contact a local shop-ask 4 price 2 change them or u can go to model number--scroll down til u find power supply--if not in stock write down part number--google part number to find one
