No volume on any input setting

a few possible reasons: speakers are set to OFF.

Sometimes with Mitsubishi projection sets a glitch will occur and these sets have the OPTION menu to deal with that--depending on model number there are 3 hidden menus---OPTION, adjustment(stay out of that) and Convergence which is different from the customer one.

The OPTION menu requires (by MODEL number) the original Mitsubishi remote and a 4 digit number code to enter.

When the Option is engaged the will return to new in the box setting wise--all set back to default except for convergence.

I have seen it cure no sound, no video, and a number of other issues that happened for no real reason.

I have a list of the codes for most models.

Audio but only black screen for video on WS65807

First, the set has a hard reset but it will NOT affect convergence which is stored in a separate area of the set.

Model indicated has 3 hidden menus---all accessed with the Original remote and a 4 digit code.

At your own risk:

This is a V17 chassis that was used in 8 models.

It has 3 hidden tech menus: With set on:

Option menu is 8270 enter---The Option menu reset will return all settings to factory and also will clear any glitches out of the way--it as stated can cause Convergence not to be affected.

Circuit adjust menu: (stay out as one wrong move and fatal things can happen is : 8257 enter.

Convergence adjust menu: (better than customer and SAVES adjustments made in to the DCU or digital convergence unit in the set.

I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TRY THE OPTION MENU FIRST, IF NEED DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS I CAN LOCATE THEM FOR STEP BY STEP OF THAT.

SEE IF IT CLEARS THE MAIN ISSUES UP FIRST---IF YOU TRIED TO ADJUST CONVERGENCE IT MAY NOW BE MESSED UP BUT UNLESS YOU GET THE SET BACK TO WORKING SOMEWHAT NORMAL NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

keep in mind I do this here for free and have worked on hundreds of these Mitsubishi sets.

How to enter service mode for WS73615 tv

Model is a v-25 chassis which has 3 hidden menus:

Done with the original remote: Menu 2470 enter is option menu (hard reset etc.)

Menu 2457 enter is circuit adjust menu

Menu 2459 is convergence adjust menu

be rather careful in the circuit adjust menu and write down settings before adjusting there

My ws-55311 shows blue screen on all inputs except the DTV input

This set has 3 hidden menus accessed with a different 4 digit number code----You need the Mitsubishi remote to enter.

One of them is the Option menu which will allow a hard reset of the TV back to factory original---98% of the time it will restore all inputs--cures all sorts of odd problems.

If you have that remote and want to try it let me know for sure the model number and I will give you a link to the instructions for doing it.

Try to unplug set and try it again as if the set was unplugged and then the self check done it will be 1,2 which means NO ERROR detected.

Let me know also what the set does?

Mitsubishi WS-65907 65 in. Rear Projection Television; No Sound from internal speakers. I don't believe external speaker will work either but I have no way to test. TV was move from one home to another....

first you need the original remote to do this, with the set on use the remote to enter the following (menu) 8,2,7,0 this will bring up the options menu the first thing in this list is "Inital" and should already be highlighted then simply press enter on the remote, this should reset the tv

Inputs randomly stop registering, screen goes blank

Code 12 indicates no error. Push the Menu and Device buttons after the TV has shut off to get the proper code, not after you unplug and plug it back.

It seems your set is not Mitsubishi WS-55819 so it will help if you can give the exact model.
