They don't have it. the dual shock 2 has it. but thats a ps2 controller. the dual shock 3 is a six axis controller, sony opted for six axis instead of vibration. if your lucky you may be able to find a setup to use a dual shock 2 setup to use with an wireless adapter for the ps3. good luck with that one though.

My core controller just vibrates

Hi
The problem may be with the game. some PS2 games are partially compatible with PS3.
When the controller vibrates and turns off use the wire to switch it on and keep running.

Hi I can't seem to get the controller to vibrate and my ps3 is saying the vibration is on but I don't feel it working

Try another controller that you know the vibration is working properly. If it works then you know the original controller is faulty. Those wireless controllers have a little motor that vibrates and they can go bad after alot of use, or if they get thrown around, etc.

It doesn't really have a problem. I just got the control pad second hand and would like to know some instructions. On Off Vibrate. The rest I can figure out but am not sure if I have it on properly or...

The User's guide is available here: http://www.madcatz.com/Default.asp?Page=125 .

The vibration feature will only be available if the batteries are fully charged, the motor is turned on (physical switch on the control to the left of the low battery indicator) and for some games, the vibration option is enabled in the game (see the Options menu of the game).

To make sure that the unit is on, make sure the batteries are charged, the base unit is fully plugged into the game system and set the power switch to on. Then confirm if the controller works in the game. (If the unit is on but in the power-saving mode, press Back or Start on the controller to wake it.)

I hope this helps.

My controller won't stop vibrating.

This could be one of two issues:

A) Your controller isn't real, was manufactured somewhere in China as a scam to get your money. You bought it off the Internet and got scammed.
B) If it's actually a Sony controller, it could be a hardware defect. It wouldn't just vibrate unless the PS3 Game told it to... If it's still vibrating, try letting the battery die completely, then plug it in. If it's still vibrating, call SCEA (1-800-345-7669).

Everytime I turn on my PS3 The controler vibrates

Go to "Accessory Settings", and then "Controller Vibration Function" - click on it, there will be "on/off"
That should prevent it, I don't think there is a specific option for disabling the vibration on startup only
