Kingston Datatraveler Windows 7.

1]Go to control pannel
2]Go to System and Security
3]Go to Device Manager
4]Click Universal Serial Bus Controllers
5]Right click the USB
6]Click Uninstall
then Reboot computer while pendrive is inserted in USB
Then connect to the internet.
When you connect to the internet if the said USB is empty
(i.e. no device is inserted in it) they install the device
eventhough the device is not present, causing the said error.

Pen drive have not inserted

Windows XP, Vista , or Windows 7 should be able to automatically detect and install it. Try using it on another computer that has either Windows XP, Vista , or Windows 7 on it. If it doesn't automatically detect and install it on that one then the flashdrive is dead.

If you have an older operating system then go here to download the driver:

Sir pls help us i connect my pen drive 2 gb

I would bet that the pendrive is fried. Pendrives are low-power devices and shouldn't be causing any such symptoms.
If it is not working with some other PC too, it's definitely defective I'm afraid.

When i plug pen drive when i plug pen drive & a message is windows does not recognized the pen drive. it is not show in my computer.sir i want to format the pen drive so please help me.

The best thing that you can do is to locate the drivers for the pen drive from the manufacturers supporting section on their website.
Once you are on this website, select the drivers that meet the version of windows your computer is running (i.e. Vista, XP)
Once you have downloaded the file, run it and install it. This should fix your problem :o)

I can't use 2 GB kingston pendrive in windows 98

windows 98 will probably need drivers installed before it can recgonize a USB flash drive:

I don't know which specific model of kingston drive you have, but if you go to this link, select the right model, and click on 'download win98 drivers'  that should work.
