My ipod nano is frozen on language screen. When I do the reset by
toggling hold and pushing down the menu and center button, it goes off,
but then when comes back on it is still on lanugage screen. I let
the battery completely run down and then recharged and it is still on
that screen. Please help.

Just to make sure you are doing it right, try this: Toggle the hold switch and put it back in the off position. Then press and hold the center button and the menu button simultaneously for ten seconds and the apple symbol should come up on the screen. Hope this helps you!

you can try to toggle the hold switch to on (red) then off then press and hold the middle button and the manuel button at the same time untill the apple logo reappears

What I would do is just plug it in to your computer and leave it there ,.
leave till it is fully charged and then eject it and see what happnes .,

In iTunes, select Restore to Restore the iPod firmware. This erase everything on the iPod.
