Broken screen the inside screen on my tv got broken. The tv still has great sound, but no picture. Is this fixable?

Did your TV get hit or fall over?

The LCD panel is actually broken.

If you had a picture on it, it would still be a bad LCD panel, but when you get lines and no picture, it means the row/column bus has been severed somewhere.

The downside is the LCD panel will cost the same or more than the TV set.

I wish i could have a better solution.

Not worth fixing,if LCD,Plasma,DLP screen pannels is damage or broken only worth as salvage electronics boards parts.Because the tv corporations produced it limited LCD,Plasma or DLP screen pannels.They're the only one able to sell u the screen pannels,but they will sell it to u same as a new tv,might even cost more after the Plasma screen part is put in.Because of the labors.

Yes it can be fixed most certainly. You have broken your Plasma screen and most certainly scratched your filter glass with the broken screen glass inside. Depending on where you bought the TV, and whether you have a cover plan, you may get the Tv screen & Filter replaced under accidental damage. If the TV is still under warranty and you dont have a cover plan, you may find the repair will be refused. If so, you could maybe buy the same tv off ebay as repairs or spares and fix yours.

I'm sorry, but the LCD is broken. The good news is that Blackberry Bold LCDs are fixable. You can do a mail order repair or find someone local to fix it. Inovagent can repair your Blackberry locally in the Washington DC/Baltimore area.

I'm afraid you'll have to buy a new plasma screen. The gas inside the screen is a sealed unit and it would have been disturbed by dropping the plasma screen. If the seal is broken then all sorts of funny colours and pictures would show on the screen, and unfortunately it would require a completley new plasma. I wouldnt of thought it would be fixable.

If your screen has cracks running inside the display then you will need a replacement screen. The Plasma screen is the most expensive part and would cost almost the price a new TV as there would also be a labour cost to add on.

It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one.After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.

How is the player plugged into the TV set? Are you using the S-video or RCA type plugs? Have you tryed a differant input on a differant TV? It could also be your cables. If you tryed differant cables and a differant input then your problem is a broken connection on the video jack or in the video output processor IC inside the unit and thats not a user fixable problem, Sorry.
