I left my Creative Zen Nano in my car. It got down to about 10 degrees. When I went to use it next it would do nothing but come up with the Creative Logo, it wouldn't even turn off. Now with a fresh battery and at 70 degree room temp for 3 days, it will turn off and on, play the radio, and record the radio, but it says "no music". When I attached it to my computor, the computor recognizes it but won't load any songs, or let me check the inventory of songs that I had loaded in it. In the information section it says I have 981.+ megs of songs. Any ideas?

Re: Mp3 player Creative Nano 1GB
Try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.

I`ve had the same problem twice, it seems the player erases the whole firmware when this happens. You can fix this by plugging it to your computer in recovery mode, this will allow you to reinstall firmware.(Search google for zen nano plus recovery mode to find instructions.)
My creative zen nano plus 1GB bought 6 months back, when connected to the comp it hangs...then after long time it gives an error message that write file delayed in F:. I didn't even try to write any file...the right click also hangs the computer after long time
In my case I have a Zen Nano Plus 1GB.
It won't turn back on. I was really sad, but I found a way to restore it.
1) Go to creative and search for the Mass Storage driver, the file name is MStorage_PCDRV_LB_1_07_00_250.exe
2) Install it this software for updating Windows Drivers.
3) Go to creative and search for the software ZENNanoPlus_PCFW_L16_1_14_03.exe
4) Hold down the player's power button while connecting to PC USB port.
5) Run the software for recognizing Zen nano you just downloaded.
You shall see a ballon in windows task bar telling that it was found a new hardware.
Confirm all Windows installation wizards for this new device! Now you can release the player's power button.
6) When the device is found and recongnized, just format your player!
Recommend you take a look at this Creative MP3 PLayers FAQ site first, it has a lot of info. BTW, I have the Nano (but not Plus) and I think the reset-switch hole they refer to is next to the USB connector on mine.
