Sometimes mp3 player will say that if the song you put on them is copyright protected
if you downloaded it from itunes or urge they only sell protected copies of their music. stores like rhapsody mp3 store sell unprotected copies.
check your ripping software as well, sometimes in your option for ripping the music into a mp3 you can check a little box to protect it, if you did it usually only works on that player and devices synced to it
