Go to the manufactor and get the instruction book. Most have online
website to download th einstructional booklets from almost always for free. .

I believe that this is the manual that you are looking for, http://www.franklin.com/manuals/twe-118/twe-118english.pdf and if you go to page 5 it explains how to set the date and time.

I cannot help with the day but the date can be set -
Pull the head of the crown fully , then push it back lightly half way and then rotate the crown.
