check the bios settings.....
if your hard disk detection is enabled or not...
if yes...(yet your system is not detecting your hard drive)
then....go the manufacturer's site and download the respective sata driver of your hdd (particular model number)...
burn it into a cd...
insert the cd into a usb cd rom/writer.....
then try to install windows.... let the system boots from the cd
at the time when it says "press f2 to install driver"
press f2...
then browse to the location i.i. usb cd - rom/writer and install the driver...
now your system will detect your hdd...
