If they are the same brand and model it should work. It all depends on the frequency they are using. If its the exact same model and brand it should be the same frequency.

From your handset, you just have to press the mute button, your phone should start telling you the time, date, ect. press the #5 key and then the #8 key and start recording your message. When finished press the # 8 key again. Hope this helps

connect the USB external hard disk to usb port by the way disconnect other working harddisks
available on the system, boot the system with bootable cd/floppy go to command prompt and run
chkdsk on this drive

Also download "mbrfix" connect all working harddisks along with the nondetecting harddisk and run mbrfix for the USB defective harddisk

Try using different USB data transfer cable, if power source adapter is used check for rated power output in multimeter for this adapter, if found defective replace it with new/good adapter with same
specifications

Bad luck if harddisk controller has failed you have to go in for new harddisk

check your harddisk is dected in bios or not.
also restore all bios settigns to defaults.
refix yourt ram
reset your biosd
put your v\cmos cell for 15 minutes from mother bord then it reset .

plz set ur hardisk as the 1st boot device in the bios setup. u can enter the bios setup by pressing the del or f2 key when u power on the mission

if sata then u have enable sata in bios checkit in bios.
also check if usb port .
or ide as your harddisk conection method.

file system is another memory space ,where it stores the address of the data i.e,(datas in harddisk) .

ex:(songs in harddisk) if u click the .mp3 icon.. they pointer wil move to the filesystem and searches for the address (harddisk address)... then the pointer jumps to the harddisk address... then song plays
