My husband is looking for a user manual for a Terk s-video switch. He got the used item from someone at our church - but they had no documentation for it. Where can I get a user manual?

From my search results, the model number is Terk VS-4. You can view the user manual by clicking here. You need Adobe reader to view it.
More information is given below:

"
This unit allows you to feed up to 4 stereo audio and video sources to one unit (normally one television which has A/V inputs).

It also allows you to connect a second device such as a portable recorder or amplified loudspeakers to the front AUDIO only output (stereo minijack).

The two outputs are always live.

There are four switches on the top of the unit which allow you to select which of the four inputs you want to use.

Since this is a passive device (no AC or batteries) the input which you select is indicated by a red mark (non-illuminated) which appears when you select the input.

This unit is a perfect solution if you have a receiver or amplifier with no video switching or without enough video switching (or with no S-video capability).

...Placing the unit directly on top of a TV could cause electromagnetic interference. If this occurs simply move the cables and/or the switch box .
S-video signals will only be output when a corresponding S-video signal is connected to the input. For example, if you connect a standard VHS VCR to input 1 using composite video, only composite video (not S-video) will be output from Output #1.

Only output #1 should be used for dubbing or editing, since recording levels will drop if you use both Output #1 and Output #2 simultaneously."

I AM TRYING TO DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL FOR MY ACER ASPIRE SWITCH 10E

There are several models in the Acer Aspire Switch 10E line. If you start here: http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers . Either enter your machine model or use the drop-down menus to select Notebook, Aspire Switch and then your model. Click on the Documents tab. There should be a User Manual link to download a .zip file. Extract the contents to read the enclosed PDF. Note: the User Manual W10 includes notes for using Windows 10. It doesn't have the contents of the general User's Manual.

With the Acer Aspire Switch SW3-016-17WG, only the Windows 10 manual is available. For the SW3-013P, both manuals are available. Since the laptops are very similar, if a full manual for your model isn't available try looking at another model in the same part of the Aspire Switch line. The link to the full manual for the second system listed above shows up as http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Document/User%20Manual/User%20Manual_Acer_1.0_A_A.zip?acerid=635681310277945244&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=ASPIRE%20SWITCH&Step3=SW3-013P&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6 on my system right now.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model number for your laptop if you'd like more assistance.

Pink/burgandy dots or shadow on display screen Our church has a new PLC-XU48 - has 70 hours on the lamp life. we use for both video and text display. Last night when we switched from video to text; we...

Does it go away when you switch back to Video? if so then the issue appears to be related to the text mode. Text mode is usually for showing microsoft office documents from your PC, that kinda thing. If you have text within a video then you should leave it on video. It is normal to get the odd pixel burn out and the colors change and look pink or bright, in your manual it will say what the acceptable limit is usually less than 1% i forget what the norm is but a possibility some of the pixels have burnt out, i doubt this is a bulb issue as the bulb just projects what is sees on the small display screen inside. Check the lens is clean, if the item is under 2yrs old you are actually covered regardless of what warranty came with it, more so if you purchased this using a credit card, see martins money shop website for details of how to make a claim via your bank to get full refund, all electrical items are covered for 2yrs against manufacturing faults. You can try resetting everything to default and see if this helps.... another tip, never turn the projector off at the wall straight away after using, you must let the bulb slowly cool otherwise it can break, so always power off with remote or power button then wait until the bulb and fan has stopped before turning off at the wall to prolong the life of the machine. If the issue was the bulk you would not be seeing anything, sounds more like an issue with the mode and media your using but if the spots appear all the time in all modes then it points more towards a manufacturing fault, the display being burnt out in parts, thats my guess.... although if this is the case the fault will show in all modes.

INTRODUCTION
***********************************************************************

After having completed the walkthrough the other day, I received several
e mails from people that were going back through the levels looking for
the secret items that they had missed, and they wanted some guidance with
that without having to search through the entire long walkthrough. This
guide is for those people and those that come after them in search of the
secret items in this game.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

I. IDENTIFYING THE SECRET ITEMS

a. Spheres
b. Coins
c. Da Vinci's Inventions

II. LOCATIONS

a. The Louvre
b. Saint Sulpice
c. Normandy Mansion
d. Bank of Zurich
e. Chateau Villette
f. Biggin Hill Airfield
g. Temple Church
h. Westminster Abbey
i. Rosslyn Chapel

***********************************************************************
I. IDENTIFYING THE SECRET ITEMS
***********************************************************************

First and foremost, there are three (3) types of secret items that you
are looking for throughout the game:

a. SPHERES - Spheres are miniature models of each of the planets, and
there are 7 of them to be found. When you get close to
these items, there is a glowing symbol on the wall in the
very near vicinity to help you find it. These spheres you
need to find are:

SATURN SPHERE (The Louvre)
JUPITER SPHERE (Normandy Mansion)
MARS SPHERE (Bank of Zurich)
VENUS SPHERE (Chateau Villette)
MERCURY SPHERE (Biggin Hill Airfield)
MOON SPHERE (Temple Church)
SUN SPHERE (Westminster Abbey)

b. COINS - Coins are just that, coins, only these aren't the loose change
type coins that are at this very moment falling out of your
pocket into your computer chair. There are 7 of these coins and
each one is made of a different kind of material. These coins
also have a glowing symbol on the wall somewhere in their
immediate vicinity. The coins you need to find are:

LEAD COIN (The Louvre)
TIN COIN (Saint Sulpice)
IRON COIN (Bank of Zurich)
COPPER COIN (Chateau Villette)
MERCURY COIN (Biggin Hill Airfield)
SILVER COIN (Temple Church)
GOLD COIN (Westminster Abbey)

c. DA VINCI'S INVENTIONS - These are kind of cool. They are miniature
models of (DUH) Da Vinci's inventions. There
are 9 of these to find, and these items do
NOT (repeat, NOT) have a glowing symbol near
then to help you find them, so these can be
easier to miss than the others. The inventions
you need to find are:

DA VINCI'S ARIAL SCREW (The Louvre)
DA VINCI'S ORNITHOPTER (Saint Sulpice)
DA VINCI'S TANK (Normandy Mansion)
DA VINCI'S BALLISTA (Bank of Zurich)
DA VINCI'S WARCART (Chateau Villette)
DA VINCI'S BRIDGE (Biggin Hill Airfield)
DA VINCI'S PADDLEBOAT (Temple Church)
DA VINCI'S CODEX ARUNDEL (Westminster Abbey)
DA VINCI'S CODEX ATLANTICUS (Rosslyn Chapel)

Can't pick up all the signals

I always tell people to carefuly read their instruction manual and consult the product tech support before determing that there is actualy a fault with their unit.

If sounds like the tuner module or the controler board for the tuner may be failing, or there is a power supply distribution fault to the tuner section and or its controler. This has to be service by the manufacture.

One of the criteria I recommend when people buy an expensive appliance or TV is to make sure that there is local authorized service. I also recommend an extended warrany for expensive items. The warranty is like insurance. You may or may not need to collect!

Picture only shows in black & white when playing DVD

Same problem with an older JVC player. One end of the S-video cable was loose. Pushed in in tight and everything ok again. Cheap fix if it works for you.
