REGARDING HS820 BLUETOOTH HEAD SET CANT GET TO PAIR

I HAVE GOT A HS820 BLUETOOTH DEVICE AND I CAN NOT GET IT TO PAIR WITH MY LG PHONE I LOST THE PASSCODE AND INSTRCTS MANUAL CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME

I think I can help here:
Make sure your headset and phone are charged before doing anything else. The blue light on your headset will come on when it is charging, and will shut off when fully charged.
To put your headset in pairing mode, make sure it is completely off first (no blinking blue light). Then hold down the Call button for 6-10 seconds until the blue light stays on. (It will likely flash once and shut off, but keep holding until it is all the way on and stays there!)
From there, go into the settings on your Droid 2 and access the bluetooth connections. Do a new scan for your headset if you don't see it listed, pair, and connect!

When i try to pair it the bluetooth and my phone wont pair!!!The Bluetooth device is the HS820
Follow these steps to pair your phone with the bluetooth device.

Pairing
With the headset and phone close together:
1 With the headset off, hold the Multifunction Button until the LED remains on (about 5 seconds).
2 Perform a device discovery from the phone. For details on device discovery for your phone, refer to the phone’s user’s guide.
When the scan is complete, the phone displays the devices found.
3 Select the Motorola HS820 from the discovered devices list and confirm following the on screen prompts.
Action
4 When prompted by the phone, enter the passkey 0000 and confirm to pair the headset with the phone.
The device ID is now stored in the phone’s memory.
Pairing is successful when the headset indicator flashes rapidly.

Need to re-pair bluetooth to phone
Go to ur phones bluetooth settings - activate pair new device - at the same time press and hold the on button on your blue tooth head set for about 10-15 seconds - this will enter the device into pair mode - on your phone - click on pair with new device etc etc, the default access code is either 0000 or 1234

Can't hear with bluetooth
That means the pairing is not successful.Follow the steps
1.Turn on mobile bluetooth and set the status to shown all 2.Tun on the bluetooth mobile and keep pressing the button on the  bluetooth for few seconds. 3.You will notice that light is continously ON and not blinking 4.Now find the device from mobile via search option 5 When it detect use this code 0000 to pair. 6.When the pairing is successful ,select option button and click connect.. 7.Now you should hear from your bluetooth..

Pairing Motorola HS820 with Blackberry 8310
Hi,

there is really no fail safe method to pairing a bluetooth device.
The main thing is recognition. i,d suggest trying to press the different buttons on the transmitting bluetooth device, whilst attempting to pair. i.e volume up/down or on/off et,c. to enable the device-blackberry to find and sync. i,d think the device that needs to be configured or setup correctly is the blackberry rather than the bluetooth device.
try changing the phone settings. to accept all incoming signals on bluetooth, or disable encryption.

Will not pair to phone...Worked fine until today
re: Carmen66. Your advise 'bluetooth' "device is out of range or powered off", worked like magic. Yes, it's a pain to power off the phone and restart it before connecting the bluetooth, but heck it works. Reboot, so simple, inconvenient, but works with GREAT success! Thnk You.Very Helpful. First new phone in a few yrs and was ready to take it all back.

1st switch on bluetooth for both devices!
2nd go to your bluetooth menu in your phone

Samsung e900 pairing
if you press the power button and hold until the blue light stays on the set is then in find mode, at this point use your phone to search for new devices and when it finds it it will see the HS820 and probably ask for a pin number this is 0000, when they are paired the blue light will flash and then flash intermitently from then on.

Pairing with Blackberry 8310 I can pair the headset with other mobile devices, but when it comes to my blackberry, after I have entered the passcode, it states "waiting for Motorola HS820"......and then keeps waiting. If I press the return arrow key, the bluetooth symbol suggests the device is paired -but it is not.
