Blue Convergence problems

Maybe you can fix it in the service menu.
Turn off TV, press mute then 182, Turn on TV and check out new menu items

The problem of your tv is the convergence. Projection tv set has a 3 colors red,blue and green this 3 colors must be properly lined up to look the video normal. When this 3 colors is not properly aligned the video will produce a double image of color or like a 3d or wavy. In order to fix this problem you should adjust it in the menu program of your tv you should move any of the colors to up or down, left or right if you cannot align the 3 colors the problem is the convergence ic it must be replace. To locate the convergence ic you should remove the back cover of your tv but be sure to unplug your tv, you will see this ic attached in a large aluminum plate it has a marking of stk--- and followed by a numbers. or you could contact a service technician do do it for you and save you from stress. Yes taht is exactly waht you need. You will need two of them plus some heat sink compound. It is a straight forward repair. Just unsolder the old ones and solder in the new ones then adjust your convergence when your done. I am enclosinga link where you can order the parts online for 10.99 each. Hers the link

you have a samsung? hcl4715... your convergence chips have most likely blown...sorry..

Replace both convergence IC's part# STK392-040. Also check for burnt/discolored resistors nearby.

did you align the convergence after replacing board assy.if not it needs to be realigned.
