Paper Jammed in Middle of CANCELLED Print Job. I lifted lid and removed fuser. Pulled paper from fuser as indicated and closed lid. Error 381 will not go off no matter what I do.
Thanks

I had to remove every toner cartridge and drum. I found the paper under the second to last drum.
Long shot, but try unclipping the data cable from the printer. Turn off the power switch to the printer. Unplug the power cable to the printer. Wait 3 minutes. Plug everything back in and turn the power switch back on. May have success then..
I have the same issue, if i turn it off it is okay for 1 print then goes back to paper jam mode
Note
Be careful to not force the print head to move.
If the print head
is positioned at the far right hand side, you cannot move it. Please
contact Brother Customer Service from "Contact Us".
Note
Use a flashlight if necessary to check thoroughly.
Make sure that the printer is turned off.
Open the printer cover by pressing the latch on the left side of the printer and lifting the cover up all the way.
Warning: Opening the printer cover exposes the fuser, which is marked CAUTION Hot Surface Avoid Contact. Be careful not to touch the fuser. If the printer has been in use, the fuser may be very hot.

Remove the developer cartridge.
Caution: When removing the developer cartridge, never touch the developing roller under the flap; otherwise, print quality may decline.
Remove the photoconductor unit.
Caution: Never touch the photoconductor unit's light-sensitive drum; otherwise, print quality may decline.
Remove the paper from the paper path.
Note: If paper is jammed at the fuser, grasp the bottom of the paper and pull it out.
Reinstall the photoconductor unit, and then the developer cartridge.
Close the printer cover.
Tap the edges of the stack of paper on a flat surface and carefully reload it into the MP tray. (Do not reload curled or wrinkled sheets.)
Printing automatically restarts from the page that jammed. If the Paper light stays on after removing all jammed paper, open and close the printer cover to clear the error.
