How to connect dvp 3356 t0 samsung 29 inch tv with crt tube.
Iam supplied with connecting cable with 3 rca at ends to connect philips dvp 3356. when dvp is connected to my samsung 29 inch tv no audio is coming only video. I want to know how to connect the dvp to get video and audio.
Re: how to connect dvp 3356 t0 samsung 29 inch tv with...
Please check the connection. If you are connecting the 3 RCA cables to DVD component input/output, you need another pair of RCA cables to connect to audio out (FL&FR rear of DVD player) and Audio in (L&R) in your TV set. Else connect 3 RCA cable in 1-Video out & 2 Audio out of DVD player and 1-Video in & 2 Audio-in of TV.

This is an older home theater package and only has component video out for HD and RCA or SPDIF optical out for audio. You'll need to locate the component video input on the back of your flat panel and connect it to the component output of the Phillips unit. Component cables have 3 RCA cable (Red, Blue, Green) for HD. You can use a RED/WHITE RCA cable for audio but if you have a SPDIF Optical cable you should use that for better sound. The TV should have that as an input also. You will need to go into the Menu for the TV and select component video and SPDIF optical if you went that route for audio.
Sounds like a high voltage power supply problem. With the TV on, check to see if CRT has a static charge on face of screen by placing back side of hand in front of it and feel for static charge. Also you could hold a piece of tissue paper in front of the screen to see if static electricity from the CRT attracts it. If no static charge is present, the problem is more than likely in the high voltage power supply. Unless it is something simple, like a loose connection, it would probably be cheaper to replace the TV. Do not probe around in the HV power supply while the TV is on--it could prove deadly.
You will need to connect the DVP 3356 to your TV by using either RCA cables that are Yellow (Video), Red and White (Audio) there cables were supplied with your DVD player. Or you can connect it by using component cables Red, Blue and Green (video) as well as the Red and White (Audio) to your TV. These cables were not supplied with your DVD player. Instructions to do this can be found here.
I would take it back and exchange it ,,if you purchased it new,,But if you bought it used,,and cant take it back,,I would take the top off ,,You can acces the dvd to retrieve disk and maybe see what the prob is,,thanks and goodluck
For getting display in TV you have to select input source as TV generally in all other laptop
short cut key is fn+f4. generally short cut function key shows picture of small square box.Search for that short key then activate the out put for TV by pressing that key with Fn keys.
Hi! I will be more than glad to assist you. I f you are going to hook up your cable box - motorola to the sherwood receiver, connect an hdmi cable to the back of the motorola cable box, there is only 1 hdmi output there, then connect the other end to the sherwood receiver on the hdmi input, then connect another hdmi cable to the hdmi output and the other end goes to your rca hd tv.
for the sony dvp, you have only one hdmi out, connect an hdmi cable to the back of the sony dvp if u have another spare. connect it to the hdmi input of the sherwood receiver. there is only 1 hdmi output at the sherwood, so u need to use a component cable to be connected at the back of the sherwood receiver component output then the other end goes to the component input of the hd tv.
if you dont have anymore hdmi cable to hook up your sony dvp, u can use component cable, the connection will goes like this, connect a component cable on the output of the sony dvp and the other end goes to the sherwood component input then connect another component cable to the component output of the sherwood and the other end goes to the rca hd tv on the component input.
I hope this will solve your concern, if you have any question, u can get in touch..
If you dont have rca jacks on tv then you will need to get a converter bob with rca jacks in and anti out to tv or youcould try using your vcr with the rca jacks on it and put rca cable from dvd out to rca vido in and audio in then hook up your anti cable out to anti in on tv.should work cam corders do.
You can either connect the antenna output of the VCR to TV ant in or hookup the audio/video outputs from VCR to audio/video TV inputs. If using the antenna output you need to sellect channel 3 or 4 to view VCR. If using the adio/video lines you need to select the line input on TV to view VCR.
Philips DVP 3256 has 6 outputs which takes in RCA connectors Altec lansing VS3251 has 3 STEREO outputs. Buy 3 nos of STEREO (female) to RCA (male) cables 1. Connect the Altec's green wire to first stereo-to-RCA cable. RCA ends to DVP 3256's Front left and Front right 2. Connect the Altec's black wire to second stereo-to-RCA cable. RCA ends to DVP 3256's Rear left and Rear right
3. Connect the Altec's orange wire to third stereo-to-RCA cable. RCA ends to DVP 3256's Centre/Sub woofer. Interchange RCA ends if the Subwoofer sounds dull.
