I can fully charge my I850 and it will show fully charged but then the battery dies very quickly. Also when I'm charging my phone up or talking on it;it gets really hot to the touch. Does anyone know who to fix this problem without buying a new phone?
My phone basically won't stay charged either. I've even replaced the battery. I have no idea what to do. I really like the phone. My phone basically won't stay charged either. I've even replaced the battery. I have no idea what to do. I really like the phone.

1. Turn off your phone when it's not in use. If you're not using your Verizon Wireless Razr, then shut it off. Your battery will last much longer if you regularly do this. 2. Charge your phone less. If you charge your Razr nightly, then your cell phone battery won't last long. Try to charge your phone only a few times a week to extend the battery life. 3. Keep your Bluetooth turned off when you're not using it. Applications, like Bluetooth, are notorious for sucking the power from a cell phone battery. 4. Protect your Razr from extreme temperatures. Your cell phone battery lasts longer if kept at room temperature. 5. Discharge the Razr fully. Before you charge your phone, let it completely die. You can extend the life of the battery by regularly discharging and then fully charging it. 6. Leave the battery in the phone. Keep the Razr battery dry and free of dirt to prolong its life.
Did you fully charge your battery when you first opened the phone? If not, the battery will never hold a full charge. it tells in the booklet that comes with your phone. Not giving your phone at least 16 hours on the first charge might cause battery trouble later. You may need to replace the battery. I hope this helps.
If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
Ok first of all you should never let a phone die out of charge at all.IF it dies out of charge there are chances it might charge again once you charge it but in some cases it wont, you need to boost your battery just like jump start your car.It cannot be done anywhere except some service centre. If you are not taking to your service center , then you need to buy a new battery.
At a minimum your batteries need to be charged for 12 hrs a day for the first month if not they will not build the capacity and will dwindle and die for example it is at only 25% capacity it says it fully charged but will die quickly this happens because it is charged to its full capacity but that is only 25% of the batteries true potential resulting in short battery life.
The best thing to do is contact your dealer, as I think you won`t be able to charge the batteries on your scooter as they will have no power.
Thething with scooters is to put it on charge when not in use.
Dear Friend,
U are saying that u have bought this mobile 2 yrs back so check wither ur battery has been expired and change it.Otherwise switch off ur mobile and put it in charge and check it out the normal standby for any mobile is 2 to 3 hrs.Kindly check it and revert back
It would be helpful to know just how quickly the battery is going flat, and I'm assuming there's no history of the phone having been damaged, but...
Try swapping the battery for one from a friend's phone. If that cures the problem, you need to buy a new battery (they don't last forever).
Otherwise, try charging the battery fully in a friend's phone using their charger, then see how long it lasts. If this lasts much longer, the problem is that the phone/charger combination isn't charging the battery properly. Mix and match chargers and handsets (mark which are yours before you start, or you will get mixed up) to identify where the problem lies.
If the battery isn't old and tired, and the phone is charging it properly, then the problem must be that the phone is drawing excessive current.
This could be because you've got it set up to do some power-hungry thing (backlight continuously on, playing MP3s or FM, promiscuously Bluetoothing or IR communicating, etc). Shut down all the functions you don't actually need at the time and see if that makes any different.
Once you've eliminated all those, you're left with the liklihood that the phone has a fault which is making it draw excess current. Not good news, but at least you've eliminated all the other possibilities.

you simply fried your battery by overcharging it. Just get a new one, let it fully charge and fully die twice before you start normal charging. Then you will want to only charge it for about 2 to 3 hours or find a charger that has a smart chip that tells it when to stop charging once the battery is full.
if it show fully battery also when u charge your battery it show from the red indicate only tht is not a problem... u need to charge the battery fully ... untill the msg shown as charge complet .. so need not to worry about the Red blinking battery indicator when you plug in charger.
