Can't upload video taken with casio exilim camera

I am trying to upload pics and video from my casio exilim to my mac.  I have had no problems with pics alone, but the video seems to not work.

    When i try to look at the video on my computer it wont show it. And if i try to make a dvd of all the videos it wont let them download!! HELP

Mac users and windows users alike can use a program called vlc media player. It works great on both. On a Mac you can drag and drop the movie into vlc. Go to videolan.org./vlc to download your operating system version.

You didn't actually transfer the pix, you created shortcuts to them. You'll have to have the camera attached to the Mac to delete the shortcuts. Then, move the files from the camera to the computer. That will clear the card, and insure you've actually got the files on the computer, not just shortcuts.

Casio Exilim Z-9: Upload pictures from internal memory?
Don't think you really need to use the software do you? I think you can simply plug in the usb port and browse to "my computer", it should show up as a "removable device" in the dialog window, or may call it "Casio" or similar. Open it and browse to the pictures folder, and "copy, "paste" to your hard drive, but I'm only guessing...hope it helps :)

What you will need to do is download the newest version of Quicktime and then it should work ok. For some reason there is a problem trying to get it to work with 7.3.

Casio exilim digi cam repair
I think we have the same problem with the Exlim s600 model, if the camera take picture outdoor, the picture is almost white, with horizontal line. I have taken it to the repair center at Compex, Quezon Ave., They say the problem is in the camera CCD lense. which cost P7,500 to fix. A new one Casio 8.1 meg pixel, cost just about P8 to 9T. I bought mine March 2006, Use it for only about 35 times. got a feeling these camera were made to be broken just about after the warranty expire.
