Xerox Phaser 5500dn will not power up when turned

Phaser 5500dn will not power up when turned "ON". LED screen remains "blank". No mechanical sounds either. Unit is getting some sort of power as the network LED flahes normally when the printer is powered "ON". Could this be a power supply issue? What tests can I make?

Never mind. I found the problem. It is a bad IMAGE PROCESSOR BOARD. I found it by swaping it out with another working 5500dn.

08,045.43:5458 power outage happened, when power

This error indicates that the paper path motor stalled. Clear the paper jam, power off the printer for 30 seconds and then turn it back on.

Here's how to clear a paper jam from Xerox website, depending on the location of the paper jam: http://www.support.xerox.com/support/phaser-8560mfp/support/enus.html?operatingSystem=win7x64&fileLanguage=en

My xerox phaser has a blank screen and no green light on the front of printer. I can hear the fan so I know it is getting power...... also when I plug the usb into my computer, my laptop reads that the...

That sounds like one of two things.
Either the ribbon cable to the screen needs reset, you have to remove 4 screws I believe it is, then unplug everything to that assembly, and re plug them back in.
If that does not repair it, then most likely the electronics module has failed. That is quite expensive to replace.

Xerox Phaser 8560 - error code 09 037 45 108564

Hi there

That's a ink loader error, due to the 8200 ink stick; to fix it:

- Power down the printer.
- Hold the back button and the info button at the same time, without letting go, power up the printer.
- Keep holding down the buttons until the XEROX logo comes fully to the center of the screen, keep holding for 2 more seconds, then let go. I'll take about a minute or two for the Diagnostic screen to come up, the display will turn blank and black.
- When the Diagnostic screen comes up go to down to the Function or Exercise option, there will be an option that says "clear ISC faults" it'll ask you to press OK to confirm, after you do then you will exit Diagnostics and the printer will reboot.
It should be fine until it happens again. Until all the 8200 ink is gone you will probably be doing this a few more times. Also make sure the 8200 ink is not jammed inside the ink loader, if it is then you have to un-jam it some how.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
