What does this message mean on my stove: EO14 and beeping

The E0 14 error probably means that the control panel (clock) is not able to communicate with the touch pad. Trip the circuit breaker to off for at least 60 seconds. If the error recurs, you need to check the wiring between the control panel and the touch pad. Make sure that the wiring harness is tightly connected on both side. Check for any breaks in the wires. If there is no obvious problem with the wires, replace the touch pad.

Check the full model number of the double oven. The parts may be available here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/ .

I hope this helps.

I have a magic chef electric smooth top range. everything works fine, but f-1 keeps appearing with the noisy beep beep beep. Press clear and it gets quiet for about a minute, then starts again! Only way to...

Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
The f-1 error code is a fairly common problem with these ovens
This is either a controle panel issue or even the touch pad being faulty ok
Here is the test for it to determine which one it is
This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.

Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).

Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

My KitchenAid Superba oven is not heating. Code F2- E5. thank you

Hello and sorry to hear about your problem. The code you have given, will have this problem. I suggest you contact a service person.
F2-E5 - Cancel Key Line Open - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure. Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds. If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

I have tried to help you. Please help me by Vote/Rate the response. Thanks and good luck

I have a Kenmore Double Oven that's eiving a Code 7 and beeping

Hello, this code is the result of a failed function key on the key pad, or control board. Some control boards will have the touch pad, or key pad combined with the actual control board, as one whole unit. If this is the case, simply have the main control board replaced. Now, if the touch/key pad is separate from the main control board, this will require you to gain access to the control board and key pad, and preform this test below to isolate the failed component.

1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.

2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

Thanks

The oven beeps and has a error F1

Hello,F1 means Stuck touch pad.
Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code cannot be canceled, replace the oven control(also called clock or ERC),touch pad,or both.

Thanks
