I have a 9530. It is a verizon phone flashed to cricket. Since the flash the display has become erratic, sometimes half of it displays, then the buttons from last screen stay , buttons woulds smear, etc... Now its black and the backlighting is working normally with nothing displayed. Sometimes it displays when it rings. I flashed with new firmware and no change. Please help!

"flashing" the phone has no effect on your display. Sounds like 1 of 2 problems:
1) Your display is bad
2) Your midplate is bad

"Flashing" is the process of rewriting EEPROM (electronically erasable and programmable read-only memory). In this case, it means you can reconfigure your phone so as to stop paying Verizon for its use and start paying Cricket instead.
Flashing a device is something the provider/manufacturer has to do. Some programs online will do it but these charge a fee as well. If you do not need the internet you should be able to call Verizon and have the phone unlocked so long as you have not breached your contract with the. This will allow you to use a Cricket SIM, assuming they use SIM cards.
