Question about Samsung YP-K3 MP3 Player

2 Answers

Samsung YP-K3 I have had my MP3 player for about half a year now and it was working perfectly. Just this morning I was sorting my music into folders and after I had done that I let it charge since i had used all the battery the night before. I came in to check on it and uploaded a few photos and then it told me it was full. I took it off the charge and plugged the head phones in but it will not turn on no matter how many times I pull the switch down. It also does nothing when I plug it into the computer, would you be able to tell me what might be wrong with it?

my does the same thing. It has helped in the past to also push on the on the buttons when trying to turn in on. Nothing is working this time, not even pushing the reset button.

I cannot import music to my mp3 yp-k3

You'll need to replace/update your firmware (the software package that makes the player work), and you can do that at the Samsung site here:

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/download/supportGlobalDownloadPrdDetail.do

*I can't give you the exact page cuz Samsung makes a lot of YP-K3s and that's all you gave me to work with...You'll have to get the rest of the model number from the back of the player and pick it from the list above.

When i go into music on my samsung yp-k3 i get no file. does any1 no how to fix it please

Reload the firmware. You can get that from the manufactures website and that will fuix all folder prblems inside your player. Before you do that make sure that your computer is showing hidden folders. You can fix that by going to tools >> folder options >> view >> change it to should hidden files and folders.

Samsung K3 mp3 player

To erase a music file, you must plug the K3 into the computer, and when a window pops up that says "Open in Folder", "Open with Media Player", etc. Choose "Open in Folder" then go to "Internal Storage", then choose "Music". From there, you can delete by artist, or if you click on a folder that has an artist's name for the title, you can erase by album. From there you can erase by track by double clicking on an album folder.
To erase, right click the folder you wish to delete, and select "Delete".

Deleting music

hello angel08
have you tried it this way ,Plug the unit into your computer with the cord, hopefully you have that, and if you don't have the software that came with it, open Windows Media Player. Click onto the Sinc tab and click on the plus sign next to the music folder of your unit (if the computer has recognized it, that is). Then right click on any song and select delete. Hope this helps.

How do I delete music from my SAMSUNG K3

Ezy! Open Start menu -"My Computer" and you'll see the YP-K3 player sitting there as a removable device. Now click it and then click Media folder, then Music folder. In there U can easily delete your music and/or add music by copying/pasting INTO that folder.

Hope it helps...
