Kodak doesnt allow manual cleaning of the printhead
Manually cleaning the printhead isnt difficult and could solve your problem. You need distilled or de-ionized water, tap water might work but i dont recomend it. You need a lint free cloth, dont use paper towels or anything that will leave material behind that will clogg the nozzls (a clean soft tshit should work tex Wipe lint free cloths work the best) . Heating the water will help. Remove the printhead look at the nozzles on the buttom. you should see 6 lines in a yellow area. you want to wipe with these lines not accross them. do not scrub or use circular motion. Wet the cloth area your going to wipe with well. put some pressure but dont break it and wipe a few times slowly. you can also soak the nozzles in warm or hot distilled water just only in very shallow water just enough to touch the nozzles do not submerge the whole printhead. you can also google manually cleaning inkjet printheads just use your best judgement some things people do to clean a printhead might damage them. If after manual cleaning and using the built in cleaning the prints still dont come out right call kodak and request a new printhead. I hope this helps! Don't Let this road bump turn you away from these printers they print nice prints and have low cost ink. Kodak and or I am not responsible for any data loss or any damage to any equipment that occurs as a direct or indirect result of following the procedures described above.
