We have a durabrand dwt2405 tv and we have only had it about 2 years. Last month, the picture almost completely faded out. If you turn out the lights and look reeeeeal hard, you can see a faint dark red shadow of the picture, but you might as well say there's no picture at all. Sound is fine. What's wrong with our TV? Expensive to fix?

Hi. Thanks for writing this posting. Saturday, my 19" Durabrand tv literally stopped working. Before it shut down, I had a partial screen and when I turned the tv off (hoping that the problem would somehow rectify itself), it wouldn't turn back on. I had it for only *four* months. Comcast gave me an 800 number but it rang to a fax signal. When I saw the posting here, I clicked on the Lenoxx site and called their 800 number which did not even ring. I called information and received a number, 877-874-8394 for Lenoxx Manufacturing but the person who answered said that they are Plaza Wire Design with Lenoxx being one division - but they manufacture towel racks. Ugh!
Unfortunately, this all happened one month after the 90 day return policy at Walmart *and* they don't even carry the product anymore. (I don't know whether it is because of defects or turning over to LCD.) One year prior to this, I purchased a cd/radio which also stopped working (the cd player). Luckily, it *was* within the 90 days of purchase and I returned it. They stopped selling that product as well.
