Can you explain in more detail? I am not understanding what you mean by "the cord". We are talking about the Plantronics CS70 Wireless Office Headset System correct?

If we are talking about the same system, was it new when you got/bought it? If it was new try contacting Plantronics (yes, I do know it's August now but you can still try) to get it exchanged/repaired under warranty. That being said, I am not sure how long the warranty is or if you even have a receipt. If you don't have a receipt but know that it was purchased at Best Buy, Circuit City or another electronics store that keeps the receipts then get all the information together (date of purchase, purchasers name & phone number, etc) and visit the store to see if they can give you a copy of the receipt to forward to Plantronics.

I used to work at a Best Buy (Store 817 in Paducah, KY) on the Geek Squad. I have helped customers find their receipt and also have seen the Customer Service Reps in the store find the receipt if I can't. They have access to more information on you/your purchase than you could ever imagine and it will be extremely helpful in this quest.

I know I typed an essay but I hope it helps you resolve your issues.

Thanks,

NkryptD

How do I change language with motorola hk250 headset from italian to english

Turn off the headset. Then hold down the call button and turn the headset on again. The voice interface will ask if you want to continue in a number of different languages. When they ask if you want to continue in the language you want, press the call button again to select that language.

When ever im playing and using the mic after a while what happens is that everyone goes like "AHHHH STATIC DUDE!" so after i use it for like 2-5 min it turns static unless i replug it then it goes back to...

Get a smidge of moly grease and rub in on your mic plug, then insert it into the jack. All static will be all gone. Insert and remove a few times if you have to, until the static stops.

Static in headset

Here is an even simpler solution that works almost 99% of the time, do a system reset:
1. Take the headset off the charging cradle.  Make sure that the headset is not turned on (i.e. the green light on the base is not on) 2. Hold the mute button and the call answer button down at the same time.  (The mute button is the little black wheel on the top of the headset.  Push it straight in with the tip of your finger). 3. Hold these both down until you see the green light on the headset blinking a few times.  After 2 sets of blinks release. 4.  Put the headset back on to the charging cradle, wait 30 seconds, pick it up and try it now.  It should work.

Headset has static

Perform a reset on the headset.  Hold down the mute button (the dial on the back of the headset needs to be pushed straight in), and at the same time hold down the call answer button until you see the green light on the headset blink a few times.  Release both the mute button and the call answer button.  See if it works now.  If it doesn't, try a re-subscription (should be available in the manual).

Static h700

Good Afternoon.

Has the headset been dropped, or kept in a hot car? The battery could also be going out too, but unlikely if its only 3 months old. Is the headset near the phone? They do have a 10-20 ft range in a perfect condition. But it works best in my tests only a few feet away. As I roam away from the device, it causes static.

Also, is this everywhere you go, or just certain areas?
The reason I ask, if you are near a Wireless network, it could be conflicting. Bluetooth communicates on a 2.4 ghz band. Wireless Network runs on the following: 2.4, 3.6 and 5 GHz frequency

Try removing the device from you phone, and re-connecting it.
