I just opened a new account with tmobile an dim using my old phone i had with the old account its a 6133 but when i put my new sim card in there ita asking for a security code. i tried everything the default security code doesnt work when i try to generate a code using my imei it doesnt work and nomatter how many times i enter it it doesnt sk for a puk code i tokk it to the store the lady put th puk code the customer rep on the phone gave her thats not working. wht can i do? i dont have time to send it bc to he company to get it re flashed can u plz help my imei is 352736/01/421878/1
Open phone, don't go to any menus. Dial *#7780# and press green send button. It will say if you would like to restore factory settings and say yes. Then it asks for a code. This is when you put 12345 and then press OK. This should help because it did for me.

The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) has nothing to do with the phone security six digit number.
You need to put your old sim card in the phone, go to Tools/Settings/Security/Phone & SIM/Lock if SIM is changed. The setting will read YES.
When you try to change the setting to NO the phone will request the security code. If you don't know it, your service provider can change it for you free of charge. if you do know it , change the setting to NO.
Or reset your phone thus:
First turn it OFF, take the SIM card out.
Press * 3 send at the same time and turn phone on. Keep them pressed until the reset screen appears.
Give it time to reset.
It is not guaranteed to work, the phone might still request the security code.
SIM lock and PHONE lock are different and do a different job.
'SIM' locks the card, to prevent anyone else having access to your personal details, stored on the card.
'Phone' locks the phone, to prevent anyone else using it with another SIM card.

thanks for the try but ti didnt work i called sevice provider and they can only help me with the default conde and the puk code if the phone asks for it but my phone never asks for it
the default security coe wont work so i can restore factory settings ee when i turn on ly phone with the new sim card it as for the security phone and nothing is working and i tried just about everything default doesnt work or anything theres just no way of getting round this stupid security code!
