Get a bigger memory card. (Capacity wise) 8MB won't let you hold hardly any pictures. Get something with like 512MB- 1G.

Screen reads "memory card is

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

My camera won't regognise my memory card: although the memory card is in the camera, on-screen it says "int" which i know means photos will be taken on the internal memory, as if there's not a memory card...

With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, your card should work properly.

The camera won't read the memory card's latest

Your friends Camera has stored the photos taken on it differently to your camera which means it is unable to read them. Digital Cameras are not as "smart" as computers. The best thing to do is to copy the photos off the card and then format it in your camera which will the "reset" the card and will alllow your camers to use it

Hope this helps

MY DIGITAL CAMERE MEMORY IS FULL, WHEN I TURN ON MY CAMER IT SAID MEMORY IS FULL. I DON'T HAVE A CARD INSERTED IN BECAUSE WHEN I PUT THE CARD IN IT WON'T COME ON AT ALL. IT ONLY COMES ON WHEN I TAKE OUT OF...

camera's onboard memory is only 8MB, maybe 1 or 2 high resolution photo. delete the photo on the camera to clear error message and use only no more than 2 gig of sd card. It does not work with higher than 2 gig which is SDHC type sd card.

What about capacity of its memory cared? As after only 3.photos its shows the card is full. also could you pls. send me a copy of my finePix 4800z operating manual in english as what i have is in japanies.

If 3 images fills it up, the size of the memory card is probably only 4 or 8MB.
The camera can use Smartmedia cards up to 128MB.
You will probaly need to buy 2nd hand cards as Smartmedia cards are no longer manufactured.
I can send you a manual if you inform your email address.

My EX-Z60 reads MEMORY FULL i've only taken 3 pics

I would think that you are using the built-in camera memory, by default it will allow 3 pics.
You need to go to the menu, choose setup and on the 3rd page is Format. Format your memory card

READ ERROR

I would try another card with the camera to see if there is a fault in your camera or the USB cable. If the other card works fine, then there nay be some compatibility issues with the M type XD card in your camera. Just for reference: I have several older FujiFilm digital cameras that I still will not use the newer style cards with. Newer meaning the 'M' and 'H' series cards. Fuji says they will work fine, but I'm always leery of newer techno gear being 100% compatible with older stuff.

sometimes this problem occures due to defective or fake memory media. try using a good branded card.
