Yah. it can be fixed but i cant help you with that. i suggest that you should go the store where you bought the camera and request for replacement of your LCD.

Do you see anything at all on the screen? For example, if you press the MENU button, do you see the menu? If you press the playback button, do you see the pictures you've already taken?
Its a DLSR so you can not do any thing at home. You need to visit a canon service center and then they will open the camera and check the circuit board is broken. cracked during dropping or not. And they will repair it.

If the screen won't show anything then you are going to have to send it in and have Casio look at it. More than likely the LCD is going out but just hasn't "gone" completely. Give them a call at 800-706-2534 and then option 2 and tell them that your lcd is going out and they'll tell you the closest place to send it.
