Whilst in use, the screen turned red, and is now blank

Whilst in use, the screen turned red, so we turned the unit off. When turned back on, the screen is now blank. The green standby LED is on. No other lights are on. We now have no sound or picture. The scart lead has been checked and is fine and the disc drawer opens and closes. The fans are working fine. Please help. Have bought my son several games for Christmas.

Many thanks.
Kerry

I have a Honeywell rth7600 touchscreen thermostat. I have had it for a couple years and every once in a while when. I press the buttons too quickly to change the temp, the whole screen would go blank and...

You need a new tstat. For the time being turn power off to indoor unit, remove screen, wire red, green and yellow together at the tstat and turn power back on. This will bypass tstat and should bring on the cooling. Nothing will turn it off except the breaker but at least you will have cooling. Remember to turn power off when changing tstat.

Picture & sound go on & off every sec, red light blinks 5 times

helloFive blinks - AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen slightly.

Blank labels being fed

Re-calibrate the printer by switching the printer off, press and hold the feed button whilst turning the power on. Release the button when the light flashes red. Once calibrated try again, if no joy then try a different driver

BIG PROBLEM

This should be returned for either repair or exchange. This is a problem with the power supply. Do not open up the unit. It should be under warranty.
