    Master_Tec?

Just received a F& P DD603 SS bottom drawer motor has seized!! Master tec said somewhere in one of the previous posts that he has the sacred manual for these things...and that he can email them!! plse plse.

    [email protected]

when I pulled the impeller and upper motor out of its locked in position under the filter tray the small 10mm bearing seems to be made of the same graffite carbon as the magnet assembly below . I've tried everything to try and free up the impeller shaft on the bearing however if I exert to much pressure I will certainly crush the "bearing" why would they make a bearing out of this material??? To save me buying a whole motor and spray assembly can I just destroy this bearing and turn one up out of bronze or Delron? how will that react to the heat and strong alkaline detergents?

We are getting U3 and F3 errors on each drawer. Also the bottom drawer now sounds as if there isn't any water going in or out, and the motor is only running.

The last two faults are logged into EE memory.
The other U (user) faults have been removed. The old U2 fault, which was the tub forced open during a cycle, has
been removed completely. Instead if the tub is forced open the product simply pauses as if someone had pressed
the start/pause button. The old U3 fault, which indicated a failure to drain i.e. water left in the tub, will not show up a
fault and the DishDrawer will continue through the cycle

Kitchen Aid KUDD03DT top drawer won't stay closed

The lock lever on the unit --- that is shaped like a U --- if you have it ---may be bent a little. You can move it to the correct position - usually down a little --and your door will stay closed

Flood switch 920 model

Not sure what the actual model number is but usually the F1 error with Fisher and Paykel dishwasher means water has entered the flood switch located at the base. This could be due to leaky hoses or water leaking through the door or lid seal. Wait for a day or two until the water evaporates and try again. Otherwise you will have to dry out the flood switch and then try again. Location of flood switch will depend on your model. For double drawer dishwasher you will have to take the bottom drawer out from the housing and the switch is on the floor of housing. But make sure you take the mains power chord out before touching the insides of dishwasher. Will also need to find the cause of the leak. Other reason for F1 could be loss of power to top dishdrawer if you have double drawer. But in that case the top drawer will have no lights on. The power board is located on the base of housing under bottom drawer. Once again do not touch inside of dishwasher without shutting off mains power.

Fischer and paykel drawer dishwasher has no power to drawer, power at outlet, was flashing F1 prior to shutting down, thanks

If you have a double drawer unit then please confirm what is happening with the other drawer. Most likely the base of the dishwasher under the bottom drawer has flooded and brought down the power with it. The power board sits under the bottom drawer. BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE DISHWASHER BEFORE SWITCHING OFF THE MAINS POWER SUPPLY TO THE DISHWASHER AS THE CIRCUIT MAY BE LIVE AND GIVE A SHOCK. You will have to take the bottom drawer out and see what is happening under it.

What does U3 mean?

U3 can mean quite a few things depending on when it occurs and which drawer it is.

It could mean Lid fault and will show up as soon as you start dishwasher.

It could mean drain problems if it occurs later in the wash cycle and there is water left behind.

It could mean the wash arm is not sitting properly if it occurs during wash cycle.

Disherwasher double drawer has a F1 fault have turned off power and back on again and has stopped beeping but faultF1 and spanner logo still showing ,help please

I am assuming the F1 fault is showing on both the drawers.
This is normally due to flood switch at base of dishwasher housing getting set.

This is due to water leakage from the drawers into the base. To clear it you need to turn power off. Take out the bottom drawer and dry the base of housing with towels and hair dryer. The flood switch is mounted on power board at the base.

Put drawer back and turn the power on. The drawer removal is done by taking out 2 plastic plugs one on each side of drawer and taking front cover off. Then pull drawer out and unclamp from rails. Pull out carefully without damaging houses and wiring a the back. Put back in reverse.
