I have the MK300 Logitec cordless keyboard and mouse... I no longer have the mouse (it disapeared from my desk one day...) and wonder if I can replace it with any cordless Logitec mouse sold individually? Any recommendation? Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, you can use a corded mouse in any system with the cordless keyboard. However, you might try reseting the mouse with the receiver also.

Make sure you have fresh batteries in the mouse and keyboard:

Plug your transmitter unit into an USB port, push the connect button on the TX, then push in on the connect button on the mouse and the keyboard. Also, install the cd that came with the KB/Mouse, to gain access to the features.

I don't know where the battery goes . I have a mk300 cordless keyboard and the mouse came with it.

underneath the mouse should be a clip/snapon port or a port shut with a screw. open it and thats where the battery goes.

VX Revolution Cordless Mouse for Notebooks dead as a door nail...

I see no reason that the mouse should not work. They have the Xop driver and the install software. Download both and also read henote that they are talking about in. red. I didn not download it myself. If this doesn't work you can get a common PS 2 mouse for a small amount  most anywhere including Walmart.

Logitec V270 bluetooth mouse freezes

I found no solution but plenty of similar complaints on the V270 on other than just Vista machines. I will suggest finding another model mouse and check it for Vista compatibility before buying.
I am using a Logitech M-RBB_DEL4 mouse made for Dell, it's bluetooth and works flawlessly on my XP machine along with the keyboard it came with. I will try the one I just ordered on my Vista machine when the BT Keyboard and Mouse arrive.

Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard installation

You probably already done this but try pressing the receiver button and while it is flashing turn the board over and press the small reset/connect button on the bottom of the board and also the reset/connect button on the bottom of the mouse. It should work okay after that. here is hoping that helps. Bud
