I have the bissell pro heat turbo microban cleaner. It's about 2 1/2 years old and maybe used 8 times. The brushes do not work and it's not suctioning up the water. I've checked the belt on...

You already said it, so check the carbon brushes. Once it is no longer able to push the rotor or stator it need to be replace. Carbon brushes are customized at the machine shop, so you should bring it so that you have a sample of the brushes itself. Just be observant when disassembling the motor so that you put it back to exact place.
Thanks for asking.

Suction has diminished since I purchased it a year ago. Hose is not blocked, Cannister is empty, and plastic filter above cannister is clean. What could be the problem?

Three possibilities I can think of:
1. Leak/holes in the hose.
2. The fan blade are worn down or broken. The more they're worn down, the less suction.
3. The motor itself is dirty and/or wearing out.

Any one of those problem would call for a replacement of the part involved, or the vacuum itself. It could also be a combination of any of them.

I was vacuum and the machine worked for 5-7 minutes than went with a sickening sound and quit on me....dead, dead...I CANNOT FIND MY MANUAL.PLEASE HELP
PS-perhaps this one has a private circuit breaker internally? THANK YOU,NAT

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Bissell 3590 Cleanview Bagless Upright Vacuum. The vacuum is less than a one year factory warranty and the best thing to do is to contact the Bissell Factory to see where the nearest factory authorized dealer is in your area including there address and phone # and they should be able to fix or repair the vacuum under the factory warranty. Also, you can order an owner’s manual from the factory and to give them the model # and serial # and they will send one out in the mail or they will instruct you to download the owner’s manual from the Bissell website. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Bissell Model 3593-2 Upright purchased 3 years ago not drawing up dirt as it use to

Check where there is suction...is there good suction at the hose...at the back of the vacuum. Knowing where there is good suction will help you know where there might be a clog or any resistance. Bissell also has a fairly good customer support line...I believe the phone number might be on the vaccuum possibly in the back.

Not one, but two Bissell-Power Force Vacumns are defective. After assembling the first, it would not run. Bought another only to find out, it will not work either.

If these vacuums are less then 1 year old, they are under warranty, call the Bissell number and they can tell you where the nearest repair shop is. That along proof of purchase.

Over heated

In the handle are a heater, transmission and a circuit board. If you have smoke come out and now it doesn't work, I would suspect the circuit board of being bad. If this is less then 2 years old, then it is still under warranty.
