I lost the remote control on for my Magnavox 32" TV. Now the close Caption is on and wont go off. I have tried unplugging the set, but the caption still returned. Isn't there a master "reset" code that could reset thing to the original settings?
Does your set have menu on front of tv if so press menu use your channel up & down bottons to move up&down menu go to video use your vol up & down to adjust set to off on cc. Also need remote go to Dollar store buy RCA 4 in one remote 5.00 works all tvs has code book with it your code probly 062.

I do have the remote that came with the TV, when I go to the menu on the remote I can't fine the video to turn off the CC (Close Caption)... is there another way to turn off CC???
