Unit opens and closes on its own

This just started a week ago: I start the car, and the unit opens and closes on its own and the only way I can get it to work is to make sure there's a cd inserted and I hold the switch button down to 'trick' the system. Then I can choose to play the cd or the radio. Any help? Sure do appreciate it.

I am having the same problem; I do however have a half the
solution. If you were to reset the radio (pressing the small button with a
paper clip on the front panel) that will stop that opening and closing of the
panel. However, that will reset all the radio stations, which you can program
them back, but you will not be able to set the Audio settings. As soon as you
hit the open button to open the front panel to set the audio setting, the panel
will open half a way and then close again and go back to the loop of opening
and closing. Hope this helps you for the time being until someone can come out
    with a full fix.

I think I got the second half of the solution for this problem. Please look at post "Unit powers down when motorized face opens" for a solution. Seems like we need to buy the ribbon that connects to the face plate to fix this problem.

Lg lp0910wnr fl code this started less than a week ago...The portable AC unit turned off & FL started blinking...so I read up on it & drained it in the tub hooked it back up & turned it on & it worked...

Hi humidity levels is the problem. Once the atmosphere dries out a little at your location, expect the frequency of the draining operation to lessen. Your AC unit is working great. there is no problem with it.

A/c putting out cold air. on passenger side warm air on driver side. Had it recharged 2 weeks ago. What would cause this problem?

Check the heater motor actuator, in the inside in about the center under the dash attached to the heater duct. The actuator is a small motor that opens and closes the door on the air unit to direct the hot or cold air. One of the doors is not closing from the heat side of the unit.

The unit squeaks whenever turned on, no matter what level the fan is blowing (Lo, Med, or Hi). Started about a week and a half ago.

A rhythmic squeak sounds like either a fan motor bearing going bad or just vibration from the unit running thats wiggling something loose inside the unit.

I have a Candy GOU218 when I push the start button it does start the dryer but as soon as I release my finger from the button it stops, It started doing it around a week ago so I had to push and hold

There are push to start circuits used for motors and then there are holding circuits that keep the unit running. This way the dryer stops if the circuit is open due to high temperature or end of the cycle. It seems as if the holding circuit (could be a rotary switch that stays closed while the dryer is running) or a holding circuit relay (stays closed until circuit is broken by the control) has failed.

GE Spacesaver Microwave not heating, inside fan not working

I suggest you have the microwave oven replaced, the prices have dropped considerably for the last several years and you have got your money worth out of the unit.

Wireless keypad will close door but open

WHEN YOU CHANGE THE BATTERY YOU NEED TO REPROGRAM THE UNIT.

IF THAT DOESN'T WORK YOU PROBABLY HAVE A BAD KEYPAD.
