I know of problems running Vista and Win7 from the same hard drive and it is usually fixed by having Win7 as the main boot on "C" and Vista on "E" a separate partition.
The sound drivers are very similar and usually only give trouble when mixing 32 bit with64 bit.

Start -> Control Panel -> Network Devices

Ensure that the wireless network adapter is not "disabled" by Windows.

If you formatted your hardrive you don't have windows anymore. The format erased it. You'll need to get your Windows CD out and re-install.

On my Compaq Presario Windows 7 laptop, I have got "Operating System not found" error, to fix problem,Windows Boot Genius helped me finally!

there are two possible reasons:
1. your laptop's hard drive might have bad locations
2. one of your windows file might be corrupt

using windows xp installation cd try to repair your windows
be carefull not to reinstall. first try to repair and if it does not work then reinstall.
to repair i'll give to you some details:
on setup, after press F8 *(if you are agree with terms of licence) you will be asked what do you want to do.
and requre to press r to repair a previous windows installation, or to press esc key to instal a new and fresh windows.
press r

if u have critical files to recover, ask for help from someone who know very good what to do.

i formated it but idont have any installer for the video of presario 2100

reinstall the os and try it
