I guess you have pulled the harness adjuster strap tight (between the legs on the front edge of the seat) and are still left with slack shoulder harness straps. It may mean you need to remove the seat and check the harness straps are going thru the shoulder slots in the seat, then they need to go up and over the the metal shoulder rod before going down to connect onto the metal spreader plate

Hi we have a second hand Britax rock a tot car seat, can you please advise the age group of the infant to be able to use this car seat?

it does not go by age, it is based on height and weight.
Rock A Tot is not a recognized name on their website of current or retired models.
http://www.britaxusa.com/

It is a model from the UK-
Weight/Size Suitability
------------------------- The Rock-a-Tot is a group 0 car seat, suitable from birth up to 13kgs (around 9-12 months). It uses a three point harness. For a newborn this seat is lovely, the head hugger makes the seat very snug and secure around their head. However I did find that as my baby got older the head hugger seemed too confining and we removed it when he was about 4 months old.
The shoulder straps can be adjusted to 3 or 4 height settings allowing a good fitting as you baby grows.

Although this seat is designed to go up to 13kgs I think that most people chose to move their baby out of this seat when he/ she reaches 9kgs and put baby into to a forward facing seat. Adrian was a large baby to start with (9lb 9oz) and also long. By the time he had reached 9kg's (around 7-8 months) his legs had to be bent slightly with his feet touching the back seat which we didn't think would be very safe in an accident (as surely more pressure would be placed on his legs if the car seat moved towards the fixed seat)and he was getting rather squashed in to the seat.

I want to wash my covers to my maxi cosi car seat ive manged to take the cover off but im stuck on how to get the cover away from the straps

Found this solution on this website, and works great!

What seems to be a sewn-up loop, is actually easy to unattach, but the trick is not explained in the manual.

Where the end of the strap seems to be holding to the seat's plastic shell, the plastic is not completely connected, there is a break in the plastic. Just move the strap left/right a bit and you will see that you can unattach it there. Then you can unthread the loose end of the strap and completely remove the cover.

How do I shorten my Ice watch strap?

mcdevito75 here, I imagine you mean a Band (metal) they can be shortened by removeing links from the band itself, you"ll need a specific tool called a link remover tool. they are available on ebay. However by the time you get the tool and the time to do the work, and if you don"t do any work on watches, the best bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area to remove these links. Hold onto the removed links for later replacement. If it"s a Strap (material) on your watch, say, leather, rubber etc. simply cut the excess strap at an angle with scissors.

How do I convert my car seat to a boster seat --I have an Eddie Bauer Deluxe 3-in-1 Car Seat

Remove the large bar holding the bottom plate. One side will have a plastic retainer which you just move to the side and pull the barr all the way out from that side. There is a rear leg that you can pull down and back which will make the seat sit more upright. Remove the strap (it is one solid strap) and be sure to save all the parts if you plan on giving it to a needy family when your child outgrows it. The center clip is easy to remove, turn the seat upside down and find the metal retainer and pull it up, turn 90 degrees and feed it through the hole and pull on the other side. Now you should have a strap/clip free seat that will be a "seatbelt positioning booster seat".

I need to adjust the straps to my car seat to fit my growing baby. I have tried multiple times to thread it through the back, but it will not work! I have tried everything and it seems impossible. Is...

you need to turn the car seat over and on the very bottom there are two gold rectangle-shaped clips holding the straps. You can pop these out and feed them through the hole....not like other car seats where the straps unattach up at the shoulder end.

Need help reassembling the straps after washing the seat cover

First turn seat upside down. There should be a slot on each side under the seat, run strap through each slot and turn back over. Pull strap up evenly, put on clasp part on each side, then put chest clasps on, run your straps through back and secure to strap comes between legs.
