Hi.

Most cameras are detected and installed automatically as external disk after connecting the USB cable.
In that case all you will need to do is opening My Computer and accessing the camera after connecting USB.
The picture will be contained into a folder inside the camera USB disk, represented in My computer.
At that point select all pictures, and copy and paste them into the My Picture folder. In the camera disk

My p.c camera pk-020h just working on skype while i want to take my pic

With everyone using social networking websites like Facebook and Myspace, being able to produce a decent profile picture is becoming more of a standard expectation for computer users. You don\'t need expensive digital cameras to take a picture of yourself with your computer. You can take a snapshot of yourself for free if you have Internet access and a web cam.
Skype b> Skype is a free software program that allows you to make phone calls through the computer. It also lets you text chat and place video calls. Since Skype is designed for use with web cams, it has the capacity to take snapshots both of you and of the person to whom you are talking in a video call. Plug your web cam into your computer and make sure it is on, open Skype, click on the "Skype" menu, select "Change your picture," and then click "Take Video Snapshot." After that, you can decide whether you want to keep the picture or trash it. Use this option if you want a picture that people can see in Skype almost immediately and don\'t want to bother with downloading or uploading anything. b> Cameroid b> Cameroid is a free picture utility available from cameroid.com. Unlike Skype, you don\'t have to have any software installed on your computer aside from your Internet browser. This is a good option if you would like to snap a picture at your work desk, since many corporations have restrictions on what programs you can download and install on company computers. Just make sure your web cam is connected and on, and if prompted, click on "Allow" to grant the website permission to access your camera. Then just click on one of the two camera icons in the toolbar on the right hand side. b> General Tips b> Lighting and angle are probably the two biggest factors in taking a good picture with your computer and a web cam. Try to make sure that you have a source of light that is indirect (i.e., diffused)--you can use a lampshade to diffuse the light, or you can pull an old photographer\'s trick and drape a sheet in front of the lamp. Shooting up toward the face instead of straight on can help hide a little extra weight in your chin. Rather than trying to hide curves completely, turn to accentuate other areas for example, if you don\'t want to show your stomach, turn slightly to the side with your hip forward. No matter what angle you have, make sure the clothing you choose is appropriate. avoid anything extremely low cut or short shorts and skirts. Remember you\'re selling a taste of yourself, not the entire bakery. Hope this helps.

I'm having trouble getting my pictures to import on my computer. i have a nixon coolpix L22. do i need software to install on my computer to import pics? i don't remember the camera coming with...

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

You can download the latest versions of all (free) Nikon software from

I can't get my camera to upload to my computer. I would put the disk in and download programme again but I don't have a disk drive on my dell computer.

Hi
You did not specify whether your PC OS or camera model ,normally PC recognizes the new connections especially on Windows7 .Anyway,You can download the original camera driver from its own web page..If you were given these info ,I could have helped you..sorry
Additionally ,the easiest way of downloading your picture is thru a USB CARD Reader unless your PC do not have card reader ,.
And take off the memory card of the camera and by using USB or built-in reader you can download all pictures..
Hope this helps! Take care and please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up for me to continue for Helping out the Community :)

I can no longer download pictures from my camera to my computer. I reinstalled the software and still cannot download the pictures. Thanks for your assistance.

Possible solutions in order for downloading pictures to the computer issue:

Remember you need to turn the camera on when transferring.
Instead of using the Easy Share Programe

1: Go into my documents
2: Find the location of the camera and your pictures
3 Drag and drop from the camera to the computer

Try a different USB outlet
Try a different cable
Try a different computer.

Morotorla ROKR E8 Transfer files

Yes can if you don`t have an software you can get it at this adress http://rapidshare.de/files/34829443/MPTools_4.04b_Full_by_soft-best.net.zip

If they ask for a password to open the file after you have downloaded it then you can try this:
Password: Freshwap.com

you will be directed to rapid share. Then you scroll down the page to the button “free” located at the bottom of the second column. Click on the free button and then you will go onto another page. This page should have a timer counting down. This is how long you have to wait before you can download the file. When the timer expires, then you can enter the 3 character confirmation code that they give you, and then hit download and that’s it.

You will also need WINZIP, that is the software they use to zip the files. This you can get anywhere on the net but you can check: www.downloads.com if you don’t already have it.
