The ground wire (a black one) should have either a connector at it's end, or a round ring-like metalic edge that can be connected to your computer's casing. Best for the ground cable to connect to ur power input cable's ground. doesn't have to be direct it must just in some way get grounded. eg a wire that connects to ur house's wall is grounded
