ware does it go on bord or case

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

    Hello,

The ground wire (a black one) should have either a connector at it's end, or a round ring-like metalic edge that can be connected to your computer's casing. Please describe how this wire looks like or how does it ends so I can better assist you. However don't worry about that cable to much. The atx power cable (all that bunch of wires) has some 8 ground connectors that are linked to the motherboard and from that to the casing through some metalic pins.

Upload pspe-vm sound

There are a couple of different versions of your board. This is Asus's link:
http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P5E-VM%20DO&p=1&s=22&os=24&hashedid=BcnnZhKxoh65jfIC
You can change the search. Regardless of model, they seem to have Realtek sound ALC883. If you can't get it from Asus, try here:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/
or here:
http://download.cnet.com/Realtek-AC-97-Driver-Windows-Vista-Windows-7/3000-2120_4-10962344.html
This last one is for Windows 7 AC97 codec. I believe you would need the High Definition software but, it's worth a try.
