After turning the equipment on try pressing guide or menu to see if that makes picture come on. if not try disconnecting and reconnecting the cable going from cable box to T. V.
Ur LCD inverter board is dead.Replaced this board will get ur picture back.It a long board uaslly.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter backlight board.
try the switch on the video out box (the bit that pugs into your xbox).
it could also be your tv. If there was a problem with your xbox you would have the red rings
Hello. With the computer and monitor OFF, disconnect the signal cable from the video card on your system. Next, turn on the monitor. There should be a bright green box with a pink outline of a video connector inside showing. If there isn't, and the monitor is definitely powered up, then there is an internal problem. If there IS a little green box, etc., the video card in your system is suspect.
1) When turning on the monitor, do you hear the sound of the high voltage initiating?(i.e. you should hear some type of electronic noise like a vibration or crackling of static on the picture tube)
2) If you do hear that high voltage kicking in, it may very well mean that the picture tube is dead and getting a replacement monitor is in your future.
3) If you don't hear the high voltage, quite possibly the transformer that produces it(called a flyback transformer) is defective.
Due to the vast array of inexpensive monitors available, you probably should consider getting a new unit--the cost of a new display will rival the cost of the repair--and you get a fresh warranty to boot. If the picture tube is gone, there's no choice.---Rick
it might bea problem with your actual video cord that plugs into the tv.... umm my xbox has a lot of issues too but ive never had this. id suggest you let it say off for a while and try somebody elses cords that connect the xbox to the tv to see if its an issue with your xbox or if its with your cords. ill also suggest you call microsoft and they can troubleshoot...
It's possible that your Xbox is sending out a picture that's higher resolution than your TV can display. Try reducing the resolution of the Xbox video output.
try using a different input on the tv or a different tv. make sure that you used a totally different av cable. if this all fails then you have an internal hardware failure
