I wouldn't trust anything electronic that is European if your from the U.S.

Solution would be to no longer use that device and instead purchase one that you know is from the U.S.

New Wii!!! "Can´t read the disc" message.

Jessica first check to make sure that you got the right version of wii disc etc america region supports ntsc games while europe supports pal , if you do have the correct game i advise you not to update the wii and do two of the following things
1) return the wii and get a new one
2) soft mod the wii once below system menu 4.2, if mod works it should fix disc error if not the disc drive is bad and you will need to change it.

Connected to tv but no Wii screen when we switch

Was trying to use the component option on the screen, as this had the red, yellow and white plugs shown. Eventually tried all the other options and found that it was plugged into Video 1! Works perfectly. Should try all the options on the TV!

First check that all wires and connectors on the wii and tv are properly and snugly connected

My dog chewed the adapter for Nintedo Wii Rock Band.

You will have to contact Electronic Arts directly by going to www.ea.com. After registering your product on their site, open up a trouble ticket and explain the problem to Customer Service. They should have no problem selling or replacing your dongle.

Plugged US purchased Wii into Europe outlet with an adapter and n

You would need an adapter that not only runs at 120 or 240 volts, but also one that OUTPUTS 120v. The Wii may have some kind of protection in it if you're lucky (most people don't hook up US Wii's to 240v). But if not, you've killed your Wii. Check the adapter, if it has a fuse that's removable you should see a (usually) circular cap kind of thing on the brick you can unscrew and pull the fuse out.
As for what you would need to purchase, it would be something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Step-down-voltage-converter-240V/dp/B000L99ZJ2 would work perfectly. The Wii only draws at maximum 30watts and this unit does 100. Your TV on the other hand would need a higher wattage unit.

WII CONSOLE

When you turn the Wii on, and the light goes from red or orange to green, press A a few times (this would be to get through the warning/safety screen) then wait a minute. Then when you wave your remote about, you will feel it vibrating as it goes over the channel icons on the wii menu screen. Plus a blue light will be lit at the bottom of the remote to denote player 1.

If all of this happens, it is just a lead or TV input issue. If these things do NOT happen, the Wii is broke and needs fixing by Nintendo!
