Question about Activision Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare for PlayStation 3

Modern warfare 2 game is brand new and only give a black screen once you hit start....other games work its only this game. i brought back the last one as i thought it was broken but the new one is doing the same thing.

Man, that sound horrible because I heard it was a great game. If you console is one of the older ones then I would have to give you the bad news of trading it in for a newer one but if its's an newer one I would call Xbox and figure this situation about imediantly.

Some steps of what you could do is to clean out your Xbox with a can of compressed air. Maybe try downloading the game onto your Xbox.

But still if all else fails you should still contact Xbox Customer Support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

Sounds like your game is loading in split screen mode, or you system in trying to render the game twice on the same screen, replace game, or get system serviced.

my solution would have to be either get a diagnostics test with your company that provided the product or check if wires are not where they should be and heres a bonus soloution check if you have any settings not properly adjusted or just exchange it for a new one

did you download Modern Warfare 2 to your hard drive?? If you have the space download your games to your hard drive cuts out lag time and errors.

How do you download new maps for modern warfare 2 using playstation network

Once you're connected to the internet and sign in the PSN, open the PS store. Go to Add-ons and look for Modern Warfare 2.

There will be 2 packages in there. The first package is the first set of maps (Crash, Bailout, etc) and the 2nd package is the new map pack (Trailer Park, etc). It's going to cost you $14.99 so please make sure all your card information is up to date.

Once you buy it, it will download it to your system. It will be at the bottom of your Games menu when it's done.

Once the initial download is finished, click on the pack and it will install it to the game. The console will cycle and you'll be good to go.

Also, look at the main PS Store screen in the lower right hand corner at Most Downloaded and see if the map pack has made it there.

1. connect to xbox live
2.play the game
3.there is an option for redeem the code in the game once the game load up

take a look at your disk modern warfare is thinner then the rest which means they rushed sum copies try installing it to your harddrive

try changing the resolution settings on the ps3 itself to match your tv because if the tv cant handle 1080p then dont set it to it, going into a game changes the resolution to mach the games rated one

Hi I'm not sure what kind of details you're looking for. Nothing unusual happened prior to the messages. I had played it the day before and when I tried to play i the iw3mp.exe came up. After several failed attempts I erased the program and redowloadedit then I started getting failure messages which stopped when I hit retry until I go the 1603 message at which ime I couldn't get past that.
