Locating the model number on a GE universal remote can vary depending on the specific model. Here are some general tips to help you find the model number:
Check the Battery Compartment:
Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote.
Look for a sticker or label inside the compartment that may contain the model number.
On the Remote's Front or Back:
Check the front and back of the remote for any labels or markings that might indicate the model number.
User Manual or Packaging:
If you have the user manual or the original packaging, check there. The model number is often mentioned on these documents.
Behind the Battery Cover:
Remove the battery cover and inspect the area behind it for any labels or markings that include the model number.
On the Remote's Body:
Inspect the body of the remote itself. Some models may have the model number printed on the front or sides.
Once you locate the model number, you can then proceed to find the correct codes for your converter box. The codes are usually included in the remote's manual or can be found on the manufacturer's website. If you are unable to find the model number or the manual, you may need to contact GE customer support for assistance.

It's possible that the DVR's internal battery is losing charge, causing the clock to lose time. Typically, DVRs use a small lithium battery to power the clock and other internal functions. Over time, this battery can lose its charge or fail entirely, which can cause the clock to lose time or reset completely.
To replace the battery in your Channel Master DVR, you'll need to open up the device and locate the battery. Depending on the model of your DVR, the battery may be easily accessible or it may be hidden inside the device. You may want to refer to the user manual or contact Channel Master for specific instructions on how to replace the battery in your model.
Once you've located the battery, you can replace it with a new one of the same type. Look for the baking element part number in the oven's user manual or service manual. These manuals may be available online or from the manufacturer.
If you are still having trouble finding the correct part number, consider contacting the manufacturer's customer service department for assistance.
Once you have the correct part number, you can order the replacement baking element and follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation.
What type of beeping are you hearing? If you are hearing a beep every seven seconds from a handset, the solution is to recharge the battery. If the battery won't hold a charge, then replace the battery with a 5-2721 Nickel-metal Hydride battery.
The handsets can also beep for about 2 minutes if another handset or the base pages them. This is a locator tone. Just press the Talk/Call Back button or the Tone/Exit button on each handset.
