No wires with PIONEER AVH-P6400CD

As above i bought the sterio and it had no wires with it. I was wondering if i would be able to get the wires (including the brain) anywhere on the net? It came only with the wires attatched to the sterio. [email protected]

This particular model it doesn't need an external brain to work.
You can get the wires (pwr harness and rca plug) from pacparts.com

Fuse keeps blowing to my dash guages in my 95 gmc sierra why?

have you recently installed a new radio ? I have knowen people to install radiosincorectly the dim wire behind the radio shows as a earth. however when you turn headlights on this becomes a positive. if you have wired this wire to your sterio this is whyyour dash lights & internal cab light etc keep blowing.. if your wondering why sterio still works is because its earthed through the aerial or mounting bolts.

Just bought a 1999 f150 pick up. the guy said he was having a charging problem and replaced the battery and altonator. He had a big sterio in it and removed that so right now it has no sterio. He had it...

Start with having the alternator tested ( out of the truck, not just a meter test like Autozone would do ) and have the battery load tested.

Could be the alternator field fuse is blown, this is the 20A fuse in the same block as the mega fuses on the firewall.
Also check the connector at the alternator to make sure it is in good shape, some times the connector will get gummed up.

Bought used truck he took out sterio but factory

That truck has a 3 piece system:

1. The display (located by heater controls)
2. The tuner (located under dash, above and to the right of the accelerator pedal
3. The EQ on some models and tape deck on others (located in center of dash)

Radio should work with tuner and display minimum
If the tuner is gone you are better off going aftermarket

How do you remove a Python 990 security system

Why do you want to remove a killer alarm in a car that is actually appriecieating in value instead of deprecieating? Not that it's any of my bidness but just wonderin... OK, so if your all gung-ho to pull it out here is what you gotta do...
1. Crawl under the dash and find the alarm "brain", it is a little black box with a gazillion wires coming out of it. Make damn sure you got the brain too it should have Python Logo on it.
2. Ok now your under the dash becoming one with the wiring looms and you will see on the brain a white molex (plastic) plug with about 18 wires coming out of it. You see it?? Good now reach up and unplug only that one plug Pilgrim and NO MORE... OK now.
3. Try starting the Trans Am with the key does it start ok and all the gauges, switches all work?? Excellent now shut her down and crawl your *** back under the dash and take out the other white plug from the brain and try starting it again... If all is good again shut her down and remove the rest of the wires from the brain and now your killer Trans Am will soon be importing illegal Mexicans from the border to Phoenix sometime next week when some stoner jacks your ride!! just kidding. let me know if you run into any snags... mark

My radio wont turn on

Use a voltmeter or a circuit tester. 2-5 bucks anywhere worldwide.

Test the power wire from the radios wire harness for power.
If It shows power then you fried your radio.
If It shows no power from the Harness. Hopefully you just cooked the radio harness. Splice the power wire off of the radio harness and test It for power cross your fingers thats as deep as you have to go Into electrical system.
Test the radio power wire that goes to your radios harness for electric current.
When you find the power the garbage will present Itself.

Before any of the above check all of your fuses.

One thing Is for sure you def blew something.

Good Luck

Need to buy a new brain

I have a factory Clarion Brain unit for the Clarion VRX935VD after my head unit/monitor was stolen from my car 2 years ago. It's been sitting in a drawer in my room on good working order, still have the wiring harness too, although 2 wires have been cut from where they cut it. Interested give me a call 1-234-567-1724 i live in Ohio. I will sell as i have NO USE for it whatsoever and haven't for years, just too lazy to put it up on ebay or anything like that.
