A hard drive can stop working just like any other electronic device when it becomes faulty.
First go into the BIOS configuration and check if the hard disk is detected. If not it could be faulty.
Next re-seat the hard drive, it just may need connecting again to make proper electrical connection.
If it still does not work, then remove the hard drive and plug it into an USB hard drive adapter and connect it to a working computer's USB port. If this computer cannot see it as an external USB hard drive nor can you open the folders and files then the hard drive is definitely faulty.
To get the laptop functioning again, replace the hard drive, install Windows on the new hard drive together with the laptop's device drivers and your programs.

Ideapad Z560 neither accessing BIOS setup or is starting normally

Your bios seems corrupted. You will probably need to reflash from a thumb drive which is bootable. The F2 should get you to booting screen to access the thumb drive to boot from to flash the bios.

Whenever I put in a Playstation3 Discs (Specifically PS3 Discs) Usually a icon will appear where you may press the X button to start playing. But for all MY discs nothing happens. This started 3 days ago...

This is the 2nd most common problem with PS3's. This isn't a bad problem. Your laser/lens will need to be replaced. Do you see the time clock in the top right corner going around and around? If so, you are just having laser/lens problems. If you do not see the time icon spinning when you insert a disc, your PS3's Blu Ray drive controller board has gone bad and you will need to send it to Sony and not a 3rd party technician. Certain problems are only repairable by Sony. Good luck.

Nothing happens when I insert the recovery disc

when it tells you to take out every disc, leave the recovery disc as it contains the files needed for it to recover your system to factory specs

Cd/rom not working

Try deleting it in the device manager and then reboot your computer to see if it will detect it, then when it asks, point it to the driver.

Please help me

The motor which rotates inside along with the hard discs and the spindle might have got loosened
If this is in warranty then get it replaced , other wise you might need a new one
I also dropped mine some time ago and it made a very harsh sound , on taking it to a hardware expert who found after opening it that the spindle was loose so after tightening the screws it all started working fine but sometimes it is so bad that replacement is the only option

LG HL-DT-ST DVDRAM T10N ATA DRIVE

Various issues can cause drives to occasionally balk at writing optical discs. These run the gamut of physical, hardware, and software troubles.

Inappropriate or dirty media may be to blame. Make sure to match the type of recordable disc to the drive, and check each disc for fingerprints or other contaminants. If a disc is dirty, wipe it with a clean, soft cloth in a straight line from the center hole outward. Try a quality optical drive cleaning disc if you suspect dust contamination on the drive’s laser lens.

Some discs don’t perform well with certain drives, even within their rated speeds. Try recording at a slower speed and then with a different brand of disc. Also, on PCs, verify that the temporary file storage area on the hard drive used by the burning software has enough free, defragmented space. Allocate at least 5GB for a DVD (9GB for a double-layer [DL] disc) and about 1GB for CD burning.

Ps2

Maybe you need to wait a few days for it to work again, or maybe you can replace the disk drive.
