Does anyone have a solution, I have the same problem. When I turn on the camrea the screen goes white. I have no way of displaying the menu to try and do reset.

Can someone tell me how to force the camera to the default settings without using the display. I'm thinking something was set by accident and forcing a reset back to the defaults settings may help (long shot).

I'm also having this problem, and I certainly haven't damaged the camera in any way. The screen went white for no reason at all. In fact, this is the 2nd time it's happened; the first time it 'reset' itself somehow after having it turned off for a couple of weeks. No such luck this time. I tried to pull the battery out to see if that would help, but it caused more trouble, as the camera wants you to enter the time/date once the battery is back in (difficult to do without the lcd). The temporary work-around it to simply press the enter button and it will go back to taking photos.

I talked to a casio technician this week who thought that the mainboard probably needed replacing and suggested there might be rust or other corrosion inside. Since the warranty was up, I opened the camera up myself to look for any rust (which I doubted existed). There was none. While I had it open, I checked for loose connections to the LCD. After some very minor tampering and careful prodding so as not to fry any circuits, I put it back together. Lo and behold, the LCD works again. Go figure. I assume it's a loose connection somewhere.

I have got the same problem. I turn it on and my screen is white and there is nothing i could do to fix it. I sent it away for repare and they said it was physical damage but the camera has never been dropped of mishandled. The only thing i can think is that it was left in a cold car for about a day.

I just bought my daughter a DSi pink console for xmas. The touch screen was working fine but now it won't let us access anything except the camera. We put a game in and it goes to the main screen of the...

You might have to start the DSi at the calibration screen by using these steps: 1. Press and hold the L Button, R Button and Start.
2. Continue to hold these buttons while pressing Power.
3. Keep holding the L, R and Start buttons until the calibration screen appears.
4. Follow the on screen directions to calibrate.

please vote if this thing worked

Screen is green once I put memory card in

just happened to me. I had not pushed the sd card all the way in until it clicked. Also, if the card has been formatted on another camera, it won't work. try a new card and push it all the way in and it should work.

Wont turn on

take it back to the place that you bought it. Sounds like you are having a issue with your motherboard.. If you can take it back i highly recommend it. A replacement motherboard could cost a high price depending on what computer you own.

Camera power problems?

It's not the battery. It turned out to be a memory card problem.

I took out my old memory card and put in a new one. It started working properly after that.

If replacement has been done twice then it is the problem of software. I would suggest u to contact the hardware vendor.
