Ok.. most probably the data cable of your monitor is damaged.. try to check it if the pins are still in tact.. if not, then you should replace it with new one..

In time as the Sony Trinitron ages it begins to have power issues. While this can be true of most tube televisions it's the rate and severity at which this happens to Trinitrons that makes it particularly of note. Many Trinitron owners have complained of the Trinitron set turning itself off randomly and frequently. Some sets have failed to stay on for longer than a few minutes at a time. Eventually some sets will not turn on at all. These problems grow more severe with age.
Check the power cable running from the Sony Trinitron 32. Make sure the cable is completely inserted into the power connection on the rear of the TV as well as the local power outlet.
Disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet, then plug it into a different connection. It is possible to electrical outlet has died, forcing you to obtain a power current from a different source.
Check the cable connection running from the cable/satellite receiver or VCR. If the TV is on but no picture is on the screen, the problem is most likely due to a connection issue.
Power off the cable/satellite receiver, then press the "Video" button on the remote control to switch the Trinitron 32 to the video input signal. Turn on the cable/satellite receiver and the programming now loads onto the television screen.
ok, the problem you may be having is bad solder connections on the vertical deflection IC. resolder them or have a tech do it. also check for bad solder on the 9 volt regulater IC as well. these problems are common to older sony sets.
