If i don't turn on my ac on my car over heats, What does that mean?

I had the same problem.
I strongly suggest a very thorough flush of the cooling system, you probably have a scale build up like me.
In my case I had to do extra direct flushes of the heater core to get all of the junk out of there. Keep flushing until the water runs perfectly clear. I reversed the flow direction many times to be sure. Remember to only use Dexcool in a 50 / 50 mix with purified water when you refill, green coolant is not meant for this cooling system.
If your house water is hard like mine, the purified water will help avoid a resurgence of this type of trouble.
Just as important, carefully inspect and feel your upper and lower radiator hoses for breakdown from the overheated fluids. They should feel firm and not spongy. Replace any that don't feel right so you can get back to not having to touch your cooling system for the standard 150k miles.
During refill, remember to bleed the air from the water pump bleed tap, this is important or you will have a large air bubble in your cooling system that will cause a lot of grief and possible engine damage.
Finally, go to a GM dealer and get the sealer tablet package that is required, yes required for the 3.4L engine that are in the Equinox and Pontiac Torrent. Do not crush the 5 tablets from the package before dropping them into a cold surge tank.
If you do not use these seal tablets, you will notice a smell like maple syrup every time you turn your heater on going forward. That is the heated Dexcool weeping from the coils of your heater core. There are mechanical reasons for using the sealing tablets as well but the maple smell should get you to move that way regardless.
Best of luck!

How do I data fatory reset an hp compaq nx9600

Try pressing [F11] repeatedly on Start-up, to access the Factory Recovery Partition.....

However, PLEASE note that you will NOT find Windows 7 drivers for your laptop if it is that old. (confirmed, HP only supports XP on that model.)

IOW....*IF* you could manage to get win7 to install on it, it is HIGHLY likely that parts of it would not, network, cardbus slot, audio.....all of these would need windows 7 drivers to work properly.

you would likely be able to see a monitor image, but not be able to change the resolution much (stuck at 800x600) and the others....would be hit and miss. and if your network adapters (LAN and WLAN) did not work, I'm not sure of what use it would be to you.....

This is one of the pit-falls in Laptop/Notebook ownership. Although some models have lasted through more than one OS, they are a tiny minority.

Dropped off a glas of water on my toshiba laptop and now it's not longer turning on

Given that your laptop is not water resistant, the water probably leaked onto the mainboard, fried it thus rendering it unusable. Replace any of the fried part (usually the mainboard is one-piece, so sending it to advance circuit technician is advised).

OmomI have a panasonic digital camera model DMC TZ5 It came in contact of water when it was dropped into bucket of water. I immediately recovered and soaked the water from outside dried it through a...

If it was dropped in water ,it must've fried the power chip. This Can Not Be fixed with a hair dryer...if you take it down to a computer repair shop they coul replace the chip for a price of around $400 (depend whether other parts or circuits have been harmed) I've done this before on my t100 and I spent at least $500 for the chip and the LCD screen.

Im getting antifreeze fumes from the engine area but no leaks.

I would pressure test your cooling system which would cause any otherwise unnoticeable pinhole leaks to spray a small mist of coolant if there was in fact a leak present. I had a similar problem with my wife's dodge caravan, I kept smelling coolant after she drove the vehicle for long periods and I checked the entire cooling system and inside vehicle for a potential heater core rupture and nothing was ever seen and coolant level always remained full. A couple days later I noticed the same thing and allowed the vehicle to cool down, I then pressure tested it at 16 lbs, I did not notice a drop in the guage but then I noticed 1 small drop of coolant coming from the water neck where I had replaced the thermostat several months back. I torqued the bolts down a little more rinsed off the area and have not noticed the smell anymore. That 1 drop of coolant would immediately evaporate once it hit the block but the smell was strong enough to get my attention and to figure out what was going on

HP Compaq NX960 Laptop Keyboard Problem

This is generally a sensitivity issue with the keyboard. It's usually caused when the rubber depressors that activate each key start getting worn. Sometimes you can take each key off individually, take off the rubber depressor and clean the contact point on the keyboard and up inside the depressor where it makes contact. Clean it with with rubbing alcohol and Q-tips. This is alot of work and only fixes the problem about 60% of the time. Your only other option is replacing the keyboard.
