You mean the scanning bulb? Sure, it's possible with right components and service guide. you'll need the replacement part first, which you can get online, with a google search

Yes It only has two wires. the one leading to the outside of the bulb enclosure get grounded to the frame of the trailer. The other is 12 volts that goes to the center of the bulb.

I have a 2001 jeep cherokee ,runnig light on the drivers side rear does not work,I checked for power and there is powere to the socket the turn and backup ,work the passenger side works fine. How do I fix

I have a 2000. First check the bulb. Remove the entire assembly. Replace the bulb.

However, I had trouble with back lights and tried everything .including a new directional switch... I finally fixed both rear lights.
Chrysler in their infinite wisdom used one flasher assembly to control everything. Its to the left of the steering column, way up under the wiper area. I tried to replace it myself but getting to it is a b---h. I finally resigned myself to having Chrysler do it.

Good luck.

Cruise control stop working can someone tell me how to fix myself

If all the brake lights are out it is likely your stop lamp switch is bad, it controls lights and cruse, and also supplies input to ecm/tcm. The old ones would just pop apart, you can put them back together but to replace the switch it is only 20-30 bucks. Try that.

The door ajar light has been on for a week, all doors are secure, how do I correct this myself. Moosebunny

alot of work... take all 4 door panels off, on each door latch there is a connector attached to a switch. with all doors shut, start unhooking the switches. the one that turns the light out is the bad switch- you can either replace the switch or just leave the connector un plugged.

Replaced lamp on Hitachi 50V720, still have flashing red light

Just make sure the Box (Lamp Enclosure) is pushed in firmly on both sides, left and right. Left side to hit the power connection and Right side to hit the little relay switch, Must be flush against that back side. It happened to me and I was kicking myself in the ***, a entire weekend went by with a brand new lamp sitting in the enclosure but not completely set in correctly with a flashing red light.
