Hey i am trying to download some ringtones from my computer to my muziq lg phone i got the usb cable put i dont know witch program to go to to download the music
Download tonethis 3.0 from the internet. You can use mp3's to have as your ringer. The first one takes awhile to get on your phone. You just save the txt as a ringer when you get it, and you can also send wallpapers and also animated.

You need to find and install Motorola phone tools. It works with your Motorla phone to put pics on and make your own ringtones if your phone supports polyphonic ringtones and pictures.
If you bought the SD card from Verizon then you should have another card where you insert the card into the regular sized and it works that way.
Good luck!!
YES you CAN put music on your phone without USB cable!!! just drag and drop music from your computer to your SD card/adapter(usually F: drive) , click SD card into LG Vu (make sure "connection", in "settings" is set to "mass storage" on phone!
I can Help. First of all, dont pay a cent to verizon, i have had issues with them for a while about overcharges. Anyway...
Download a program called " Bitpim " Its free, or " ImTOO3gp " i got IMToo3gp from " the pirate Bay . com, using a bit torrent, the bitpim is from a site that downloads straight to P.C.
Hook your phone to your P.C. Via Cable. What i did is i bought the verizon package for there VCAST music sync. It has the P.C. Drivers for your phone but there built into the program so you have to install it, but dont actually use the program. once thats installed, hook the phone to the P.C. and you can use Bitpim to download all the data from your phone, the " ImToo3gpp also works but instead of hooking the phone, you take your Micro SD, put it in the bigger holder that should have come with it, get a USB media port that fits the SD card 9 got mine at wallmart for $13. once you connect it, it shows up as another drive on your P.C. like a Pin drive. Then you can covert the music and put the destination folder as the SD's music folder and the program automatically converts it. It pretty sweet and helpull. i was able to drop MP3's and i was able to make ringtones. You have to have a little working knowledge of converting files. The ringtones use MPEG 3 or 4 files and you have to put them in your " MY_SOUNDS" folder that the phone created on the Micro SD, dont drop them in the music folder or youll get ringtones playing in your songs list.
I was able to Make 3gpp2 Files of the ventuire brothers and have movies on my phone also but its tricky.
you cannot just bring your MP3's onto your phone and use them as ringtones.
What I have done in the past is taken a file as a MP3 and found a program on the internet (google will help you find one) to convert it to a .wma file. You can then send that as a pix message to your via e-mail. Once it is on your phone you can through the message save file as a ringtone.
the ringtone should be in mp3 format not exceeding 35 to 40 kb. after the ringtone os transfered to your phone, highlight ringtone and click options, then move. click option to save to handest memory. then click paste. this should allow you to use the mo3 file as a ringtone.
