Microsoft bought this company and shut the company, and its support sites (including the above site) down. Microsoft also removed all info from its website about this acquisition. The company's software was integrated into Windows Vista.

I have reinstalled my system and installed all Window Updates, including the latest IE version. I tried to install PC Backup with IE v7 and the installation said it cannot connect to the internet. I have a DSL connection so I don't know the problem. This has been going on since I've had the software but I never reported the problem. I've install the IE 8 and I get the same error "...unable to connect to the internet".

Please help.

Try clicking Start then all programs (in XP) and select Windows update near the top of the first list that pops up (above the applications) and while updating you'll come to a point (after checking your configuration) that will allow you to add "Software Updates", then click on that and the latest IE7 should be there.
I hope I understood your question, and helped?
Good luck.

Why is there a delay in loading websites when using an ethernet connection to my router??

Hello,
There will always be some kind of delay, though it shouldn't be real noticeable as your requests get routed. You may have a bad network cable that is dropping packets. Make sure you are not running your network cable along side power cords for more then a couple feet. This can really mess up data transfer and speed.
There are updates for the firmware to your router. Make sure you are running the latest. http://www.asus.com/Networks/WiFi_Networking/RTN13U/#download
Don't forget to backup your settings before updating the firmware.
Cheers Chris

I have downloaded and installed all the wireless network drivers for a Gateway 450ROG. None of them seem to work. No wireless network connection is showing yet. I only have a 1394 Connection under...

Verify that the wireless switch is turned on.

Open the System control panel, click on the Hardware tab, then click on Device Manager. Look for network interface devices, especially any that have yellow warning icons marked on them. To find out what they are, right-click on them and click "Properties". This will also tell you whether the drivers are functional.

Download the latest definitions for your anti-virus program on another computer and use a USB drive to transfer it to the problem unit. At least one morally moronic person has written a virus that disables the network devices so you can't download anti-virus updates.

Clicking on 2internet options

Your system has been infected by spyware.

The quickest solution to this is to quickly copy your files by attaching an external Hard disk to your computer and arranging a backup OR by connecting your computer to a network and having a client system on the network copy your files to its hard disk.

Secondly, do a Windows Easy Transfer. Go to Start Menu, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Windows Easy Transfer.

Follow the simple steps and choose the External Hard Disk used or the network location but a different folder and make sure you backup files and settings.

Also, ensure you have a copy of all your program installations i.e. the source CDs or disks required to install them.

You're free to do a fresh install of your computer's operating system using a bootable CD/DVD.

When done, go to Google and search for "Microsoft Security Essentials". Download it and install first. After installation, launch it and go to the "Update" table, then click "Update".

It would be updated to protect your computer with the latest virus definitions from Microsoft.

You may now re-install all your software. When done, go to "Windows Easy Transfer" to recover your files and settings.

Then, go to the location you manually copied your files to and do a human verification of your files to ensure you get all you wanted sorted out.

For a beginner computer user, this should take at most 2 - 3 hours. For an expert user, it could take up to 6 hours.

This should help you.

An unknown virus from someone is attacking my pc everytime I am browsing the internet.how can i delete the said virus? This was happened when I chatted someone and then he sent me the virus, then laugh out...

Follow "best practices":

1. Disconnect from the Internet (unplug the Ethernet cable, or disable the wireless adapter).
2. Backup all your data files to DVD-writable disks, or to an external disk-drive.

Note that the Windows "Files & Settings Transfer Wizard" is useful for exporting your E-mail & contacts to a file -- ensure that your "backup" includes that "export" file

3. Click START
4. Click RUN
5. Type CMD and press ENTER.
6. Type CD "\Program Files" and press ENTER.
7. Type DIR and press ENTER.
to produce a "hint" of the installed programs, e.g., Adobe (Reader), anti-virus, Microsoft Office, and so on.
8. Find all your original CD-ROMs and license-keys, and downloaded programs (such as anti-virus) so that you can reinstall Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office and the other programs.
9. Reinstall Microsoft Windows.
10. Reinstall Microsoft Office.
11. Reinstall your anti-virus software.
12. Connect to the Internet.
13. Access: http://WindowsUpdate.microsoft.com
14. Click "Upgrade to Microsoft Update".
15. Let Microsoft Update download/install all the latest security-updates for Windows & Office.
16. Reload your data-files from your DVD or external disk-drive.

Good luck! It will take 10 to 12 hours of "baby-sitting" your computer, as it installs & updates Windows & Office.

HElp!!!!

After three months of trying and trying in many computers, following many, many procedures found all over the Internet, my Creative Nomad has accepted the firmware and has borned again.
What I did?
1. Connected the Nomad on a computer with Windows XP and Windows Media Player 9, that never has been touched by a creaive device.
It recognizes the device but can´t find any update to the drivers,
2. Updated Windows Media Player 9 to Windows Media Player 10,
3. Restart the computer
4. Connect the Nomad and the computer recognizes the device and autamtically search and found updated MPT drivers.
5. Run the firmware update program "ZenXtraP4SAudible_PCFW_LB_2_10_03 (Creative Zen Xtra PlaysForSure Firmware 2.10.03)"
6. Finally the magic button always has been disabled was enabled so start reloading firmware.
And now the Nomad is working in windows vista.

The difference between the computer where the firmware works and the others is that this has never had media player 10 or 11 and never has installed creative drivers.
Hope this can be useful to smoeone, somewhere, sometime.....

Can not connect

It is possible that your windows update messed up the Linksys drivers. If your pc is xp, download the latest drivers from www.linksys.com/download. uninstall the wpc54g on the add/remove programs.

if using XP, reinstall drivers only, no need to install the linksys software. This would be best if you install the drivers manually. After this you will be using only the WINDOWS UTILITY for your wireless connection.
